That's a Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Stratocaster built by John Cruz, one of the most respected guitar builders in the world. The reason it looks worn out/aged is because of a process called relicing. It's a long complicated process to artificially age a guitar.

I definatly think that the three are not even in the same class. First of all they introduced it as "new artist, singer song writers" John Mayer is not really "New" being that he has won grammy's b4. but, also his talent so out shines the other two.
