  • que lindaa musicaa estaa bien chida

  • She's speakin' Utopian.

  • She is speaking Narnian.

  • it's atlantian XD

  • I hope there's a longer version :(

  • It's not Yui you have to ask for the lyrics for. She's just the singer. It's Yoko Kanno that composed this song and its language. Check out Yoko Kanno's sing for japanese tsunami/earthquake thing. She's not a bad singer herself.

  • Die version von Linazel find ich besser Ö.Ö

  • Every time I listen to this, my cats simultaneously start acting weird. Hmm...

  • i love the show but when they morph together its weird it sounds like there doing it

  • So beautiful *sniff* :') happy tears

  • i cried to the video of it

  • right around 0:25 it sounds like she says "crying trolls flying trouble". any one else hear that?

  • @NovaRuner i hear that

    xD

  • @NovaRuner who knows, maybe she is

  • you know the more i listen to this song in a row the more i think i understand it

sadly i dont think anyone but yui really knows what it means lol

  • It sounds closer to French than Latin to me. French did come from Latin, yes, but it seems to me to have more characteristics of French. Just my opinion though.

  • Lizard's tail Dew in the night Silent night Sunlight A drop of mermaid's tear The shadow of dead people The pain of living people The joy of darkness The madness of light Let us become one Let's engulf ourselves in a beautiful lace (Altadimana Cinqadimana) By an edge of the shadow I'm pulled into darkness I gave a scream (Altadimana Cinqadimana) I'm crazy because of the Silence Aquarion, Aquarion ????!!!! Is this song originally JAPANESE OR NOT?!
  • @WorldofBiebfans2550

It's not in Japanese. Japanese sounds nothing like the words sung in this song.

  • The translation is creepy but so enchanting. Does anyone know, despite it being in her own language, what Omna Magni actually means?

  • The translation can be found here --> ykdb.monkey-pirate. com/index.php ?topic=525.0;wap2

  • For some reasons, this reminds me of the israeli national anthem °-°' Especially the refrain

  • Aaaahh! I remember this from a few years ago ^^ so cute n_n

  • Fail Sub.

  • cute..and it reminds me of a doll singing in a dark room with her friends, the circus people..

  • The song itself is a mixture of different languages. I can pick up on some Japanese... I'm sure there is some Latin and possibly another... but considering I have found zilch on that particular mixing of languages I cannot be sure. The translation, however, is out there.

  • @FadedRose99 think there is some russian also

  • @zakor33 wouldn't surprise me.

  • this song needs to be on my phone!! >.<

  • This reminds me of the language of Hymnos, created for the Ar Tonelico games. Anyone else thinking of those games now? xD

  • aquarion<3

  • I love the song so much but it's to short!

  • @Spiderwomankiler Look at ur righ handside tab, you will see the Ahiku Version . Thats the full version .

  • There is like 3 different languages in this song. The title is I THINK Fillipino (google translated)

  • It has some latin in it I'll give you that. There was also Japanese and quite a few others in there.

  • This song sounds so sweet! ^_^

It's not Latin at all, it sounds to me like a mixage of some language of the Northern Europe mixed with some Latin.

  • yeah who cares man its awsome!!!XD

    thumsb up if you agree

  • Shut up, does it really matter what language this is????????????? if its a good song then its a good song, period.

  • it's made up language from the anime Genesis Aquarion

  • it's made up language from the game Arc Rise Fanatsia

  • Beautiful but I don't think it's the full song. Is it?

  • @pixiewall it is its just to damn short!

  • Its a made up language called gabblish.. its said to be close to latin, thats why it sounds latin but its not, thats also why you'll probably never find a translation for this song unless you ask Yui herself.

  • I'm sure it's some kind of latin... :D

  • Its Latin....100%

  • So...does anyone know what the actual words are?????

  • Most is latin you know.

  • Wow, I never knew that Yui Makino had a hobby of making up languages...No wonder she and Yuki Kajiura got together for the songs in TRC, how alike they are! :D

  • translation = Lizard's tail Dew in the night Silent night Sunlight A drop of mermaid's tear The shadow of dead people The pain of living people The joy of darkness The madness of light Let us become one Let's engulf ourselves in a beautiful lace (Altadimana Cinqadimana) By an edge of the shadow I'm pulled into darkness I gave a scream (Altadimana Cinqadimana) I'm crazy because of the Silence Aquarion, Aquarion

  • It's in latin. :)

  • Its makisnish

  • the language sounds like something yoko kanno would invent ;) BEAUTIFUL!

Love this song, like to sing it as a lullaby for my nephew ;)

  • its not a real language she made it up and sings a few songs in this language

  • @dragonelli dude please it's latin O_O

  • @kittylikescheese

    Don't be ignorant.

  • @kittylikescheese it's not, it just sounds a bit like it.

  • @LSLencrypted well, meh

  • @dragonelli then why is the title in latin and my mom could somewhat translate it?

  • Thats no real language ^^

  • ist italinisch

  • Its not latin

  • probably.. latin.. XD

  • It's a mix of probably every language, honestly.

  • @buger98346 I was saying the whole song isn't German. Sooooo unfortunate I was soooo wrong. Lol

  • perhaps it's latin? I LOVE THIS SONG ^^

  • ' am i the only one tht thinks the girl in the picture looks so adorable ?

  • Its a made up language by Yoko Kanno, its not an actual language. Songs like that are used in Escaflowne, Cowboy BeBop and other anime too

  • The singer is Japanese and the language is Latin

  • Looks like esperanto~

  • the singer is Japanese but the lauguage is not ...

  • @Ralhooooooooooooooca it's not. Chinese isn't like tis. This language in this song is made up.

  • @kasumiangela98 if u google translait it it says it romainin but it might not be o.0

  • @roaminggirl22 Yeah. But it says on a site ( forgot which one ) tht it is a made-up lang called gabriella ( i guess tis is how it is spelled ). =)

  • ho, my, ah, ah, these are the la thraves the gods decided to to give you these are the woe is tan, ah, these are the hands of Meno of lioness lioness lioness you breath the the hour of the manna of the manna, girt in the hour or the hour, O go Where'er Prayer times as if the talus, and of the great Omna a pair of them so from the ring out of their thing on the water on

  • @ToeCutter454 wait r those the words translated??????????

  • now if anyone still thinks is gibberish or japanese or anything else, please provide me with sufficient data, as this to my knowledge of linguistics and history cannot elude. the true meaning behind this song is about Apollo at the end of the series, and the "Meno's Paradox" throughout. and i just noticed the other half the translation didnt post!

  • leent meaning lion in latin is a reference to Sakhmet an egytian goddess, she is seen as the "Avenger of Wrongs" and "the Scarlet Lady"(reference to celions hair color?) but more importantly she is seen as the bringer of disease as well as the provider of cures to such ills. such as with the case of solar wing leaving the shadow angels and causing such grief and bringing about the slow end to the tree of life, and as the cure to it by resolving the conflict between appolonius, sirius and toma

  • Meno is a greek reference to Plato's "Meno's Paradox" ending with "Plato subsequently discusses his own theory of knowledge through Socrates, that it is "recollection" from the past lives of the immortal soul." which describes appolo's conflict through the entire series of who he really is. there is alot more dealing with Meno's Paradox however throughout the entire anime.

  • out of breath the flows, but the girt in the hour of the graves in the hour of Prayer, O or go Where'er times as if the talus, Omna had not the great within to believe that the power within to P ^ or the hour of the hour, O, the lofty and had not made the order of three times en times as manna so these woe to give ta me,

  • its japanese

  • @xEnominex u'd actually be surprised if u place the syllables in the right place when translating, i can verify that it is indeed 100% latin, i spent almost all day yesterday playing around with the syllables an where to break the words listening to the song with the volume up high to hear every little critiqued pronunciation

  • ;) sorry for all the posts :D but i hope i shed some light for the rest of the community to help solve!

  • also, if u switch the word halta with alta the translation changes to "deeply of the manna" instead of "halter of the manna" if that makes anymore sense, mana and manna have different translations based on where the commas fall in place. u can play around with the commas in the translation box and it dramatically affects the sentences

  • half of it seems to make sense, im not too good with jumbling words around, but if someone can show us the actual poem or what not from this translation, i blelive that would be the correct translation of this song

  • these, ah,, my, ah, la thraves do blow the rich were revealed, these woe to give ta, of Meno, these, ah, you lioness lioness lioness at an hour that Halter of the manna of the manna, girt in the hour of the hour, O, the order of fidelity of a dowry in such a way Omna a great man, a pair of guilty from the ring in Oceano, Aquarion Aquarion

  • its latin and swedish ... its not a real language

  • one has to remember the infamous Yoko Kanno helped compose this, so bits an pieces of jumbled language seems to be her specialty ;)

  • It's Latin, but seems mix with ancient language... :D

  • sounds like latin but the most it's made up

  • The song is in Latin, people.

  • i think its latian

  • Nice!

I love this song because well, I'm japanese so it's easy for me to understand all of it.

  • @TheIchigo287

    It's not in Japanese.

  • the language is made so it might not be as accurate as you think. but it does sound like it is spanish french and a couple other languages blended together, so you might be surprised you know. but it is a catchy song.

  • Shimasho 包Mimasho clean race all together into one crazy joy of darkness the light of the suffering of the living dead Hitoshizuku shadows of the mermaid's tears, the sunlight dark quiet night dew lizard tail (Shinkadi Arutadimana Myrna) being swallowed into the darkness scream shadow of one leg high (Shinkadimana Arudadimana) Genesis Genesis quietly 狂E

got this off of the japenese translation, its a trans from google, so i dont know how accurate it is, but thats the enlish trans

  • It's Latin guys. Not a made of language, just a dead one.

  • I have read somewhere that 'Omna Magni' 'I can fly' means (---> I'm french and i don't speak english very well, so sorry for my bad english :S)

  • It's a made up language. But it does have a meaning. For those who speak Japanese: トカゲのしっぽ 夜の露 静かな闇夜 陽の光 人魚の涙のひとしずく 死せる者の影 生ける者の苦しみ 闇の喜び 光の狂気 みんなまとめてひとつにしましょ きれいなレースで包みましょ (アルタディマーナ シンカディマーナ) 高い脚の影ひとつ 闇に呑まれて 悲鳴を上げる (アルダディマーナ シンカディマーナ) 静かに狂え アクエリオン アクエリオン
  • Hora means whore in swedish....I did find the lyric somewhat disturbing at first...

  • i think that it's latin, some words sounds and are written like in latin like omna (but it must be omnia not omna) wich it means everything and magni wich it means great or big..but i'm not really sure if it's really latin or a sort of latin language..

  • I like how this isn't any a language. It sounds so pretty and mysterious.

But I do think it was heavily based on the Romance Languages.

    Especially Italian. <3

  • lols.. the song that she sings at EOY 2010 at Singapore...

  • its that voice its that voice that attract you.

  • From where is this song,some anime,game,movie .. ?

  • @milos05 anime~!

  • @milos05 the anime Aquarions ending theme

  • @milos05 sousei no aquarion

  • thumbs up it you watched this over and over again then sing the lyrics the best you can... i know i did...

  • love..

  • It's in a fictional Language. The artist is well known for making up languages for her songs.

  • Yui Makino...isn't she the same girl who sang Synchronicity from Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations and did Sakura's voice from the Japanese dub of the whole Tsubasa series (anime/OVAs/OADs)? I love her voice. It's so childishly sweet. Almost innocent sounding.

  • guess it's Italian or a mix of it with latin... ?

  • like a small goth killer fits well for road of d gray man

  • im in love o.o

  • This song is beautiful and clears a worried head.

  • Okay the language is inspired by Latin but it's her own gibberish of it. :] It's beautiful none-the-less. <3

  • it's definitely NOT german

  • @AvaXTC unfortunately you are wrong the song is half in German its original is 3 min long and it doesn't start the German portion until 1: 43 and the first part seems to be a mixture of Russian, Japanese, and i think a little latin,

  • @buger98346 i would love to hear the full version you have if u can post it, if not then i suggest you go back and look at my posts, because i spent a week with google language tools deciphering it, its atleast 90% pure latin no other language even came close to translating word for word. until you can provide sufficient evidence, including having watched the entire anime series to understand what its about, my translations are the closest to what the song conveys. im not saying its 100% right.

  • Its mixed, portugese, icelandic even some spanish.

  • Its German.

  • Yoko Kanno likes writing lyrics in false languages. In this case as well. It is neither Japanese or Latin. She does it so well. It's hypnotic in each case.

  • Its NOT japanese

  • Doesnt sound Japanese =/

  • @momoko12121 It sounds more like broken Latin and Japanese.

  • its japanese

  • wow this song is really enchanted i feel so lonely and kinda happy when i heard this

  • The fastest method to make your balls fall

  • ITS TOO SHORT. :(

  • @kellster867 but its really good though

  • @kellster867 but things that are short or small seem to be the sweetest or beautiful thing in the world...

    do you not agree?

  • @demonlink583 I do!!!

  • @NiEVE1de2ICHIGO thank you, you see my point

  • for some reason it sounded like greek and broken Japanese mixed....

  • This is actually not any particular language.. they came up with the words themselves.. so trying to translate this song is going to be near impossible because to everyone this song has a different meaning.

  • I love this song *.* but I laugh so hard everytime she says hora xD because that means Bitch in swedish, it´s good that it´s sounding like she is saying hola, instead of hora ^.^

  • its latin....DeaD LanguaGe Lizard's tail Dew in the night Silent night Sunlight A drop of mermaid's tear ... The shadow of dead people The pain of living people The joy of darkness The madness of light Let us become one Let's engulf ourselves in a beautiful lace (Altadimana Cinqadimana) By an edge of the shadow I'm pulled into darkness I gave a scream (Altadimana Cinqadimana) I'm crazy because of the Silence Aquarion, Aquarion
  • @oldnaruto1013 You guys, I think it goes differently. Um, the word halta sounds like alta in spanish while manna sounds like manana, meaning morning. So the lines might be, "Early in the morning." While the second part may go, "Five in the morning." Maybe she's talking about spiritual activity, the time from three in the morning to five in the morning. Just saying. I don't think it's your lyrics, but it's just my wee opinion.

  • its a mixture of different languages xDD its so brilliant

  • This is the same style of singing Lisa Gerrard does. Its gibberish. Basicly you sing pure emotions or state of mind. You can pick up random others words from other lanuages or make it sound like another language... but in the end their just made up and the main focus is feeling

  • I believe it is in Latin ...

  • this song is in the language of romance

  • The song is made in Latin, I study it at school...

  • @TheLizardNicky

Hahahahah, don't expect to pass the exams if you think that's Latin.

  • @AhrimaOfTheLight lol no offense or anything but it is latin. :/

  • @BloodxOfxBlack

I don't know what kind of schools you did, but you cannot fool an italian guy who studied latin and greek for 5 years, and can still write and read them quite well.

And sometimes i still use it being a medis, so no bullshitting please.

  • @AhrimaOfTheLight sorry for insulting such a well educated asshole :) but it is latin smart ass. she took many different languages (latin being one of them) and mixed them together to make her own type of language...but technically it's gibberish i guess, which is what she tends to be known for. oh and out of curiosity whats a medis?

  • @BloodxOfxBlack

Damn, being gibberish or mixed languages is not enough to categorize a song as latin, as if someone tells "Bring me a pizza, please..." and saying that's italian due to the word PIZZA...we were arguing about nothing...

    Medis...ehm I meant medic, a little typing "horror" ;-)

  • @AhrimaOfTheLight oh wow, medic? damn, i probably should have figured that out x_x. lol but your right

  • @BloodxOfxBlack

    LoL I'm prone to be
