A quite fantastic episode. It's a shame that Gadwall doesn't have a speaking role in this, and there are scenes of sorrow (like Sir Ralph's death scene) that makes you not stop watching until the very end. Very Good job and I rate this 10/10.
@tobythesuperfasttram Are you referring to copper nob? If so it was involved in an air raid and survived it, which they say did the towns moral the power of good. It is preserved in york.
@Cheesegamer1505 I'm half i'm one third Japonese, one third American and I just found out that my dad
but he's biologically my grandfather, but anyway back to the subject my dad's dad was full blood british
so I'm also one third British and for my japonese side I am shocked that the japonese participated in helping the bad side for a bad cause in WW2.I'm one third japonese is becouse my biological dad was full blood japonese and my biological mom is full blood american my biological dad's dead.
This is a legacy in and of itself. Your series is inspiring! I wrote a whole script over two days in English about the War Effort and a bit about Gadwall's death and this is just amazing!
@PalomboDylan Actually, it was originally "Car Robots" when it was imported to the US to rename it "Robots In Disguise." Created in 2000, dubbed in late 2001.
@PalomboDylan Both tend to get angry at times, although Scott, as I se is deliberatley angry and Ultra Magnus isn't. And RID stands for "Robots In Disguise."
It is absouloutly nothing like Thomas the tank it is a brilliant series of short films that simierski has worked very hard to make and put on YouTube it's not a cheap and chearfull imitation to Thomas and friends it is historical and entertaining I'm 100% sure simierski didnt put all that work in to the series just for you to mock it and brand it as anything like Thomas the bloody tank I think it is quite unique and historical. :-l please stop comparing it to Thomas the tank thank you
The remains were almost all cut up at doncaster works but some of the cab is or was on top or a stack of withdrawn class24s at vic berrys I can only amagin that they have been cut up or melted down R.I.P.Gadwall/the early sir Ralph wedgewood the a4 pacific and may the legend be remembered for ever moor
@TheNw1218 - thanks. Given this was originally shot four years ago, I have learned a great deal from Leo on many occasions. When I get the time/money/inclination I'll have another go.
I would like to see you have a go at blowing up a station set in 00.
@simierski Hi This is Dylan from the U.S.A I have watched every single episode you have made even the one that was like 45 minutes long with you in it telling every person who watched it why you made the series and all that.I love your videos.I was wondering what you used for the faces for the locomotives.I was also wondering what made the deltics lights change colours.I was also wondering where you got deltic. Also where you got the fowlers ghost engine. Please respond as soon as you can.Thanks.
@PalomboDylan - 1. A special clay from Austria, but soon to be superceded by plastic faces. 2. Deltics lights were controlled by a DCC chip. 3. I bought deltic from the National Railway Museum, York. 4. Fowler's Ghost was made from a HO model of the german loco "Der Adler". Thanks for stopping by!
@simierski is that why at the start you introduce your engine's lifes as captain star did in tugs. i was thinking you may have likeness to tugs but was never really sure.
Hey mate, can you give me some pointers on that station scene. Like what did you use for dust? How did you get the station to collaps like that? How did you get the small clouds of dust?
@ThompsonLine - Dust is simple. Strain out flour to make a fine powder, and blow gently. The station was rigged to come apart using fishing wire, which was pulled.
Excellent work, as usual. But I must ask: What is the music in the background during the bombing of Platform 9? It fits as good as, if not better than, "Danny Boy."
I'm glad you uploaded it all put together. Also great to see the director's cut. 10:54 - footage is mirrored to make 11:31 . Or the other way around. I don't know.
It is pronounced Cop-Lee Hill btw. Nice vid though. The reason why the Luftwaffe knew where to bomb was an excellent series of detailed travel books. York was very heavily bombed, and several historic buildings including one of the old churches, which still lies in ruins as a memorial to the blitz
@craigybus1 - yep, still makes me cringe when I hear it - very much a mispronunciation that I missed in editing first time around. Note, in later episodes I managed to pronounce it alright! :)
