@therealKINDLE I personally can't judge them (the people) as I knew a few who grew up there. It is more so in my mind, the environment. Don't forget that the projects were "temporary" places but generation kept staying since it was comfortable to be were you grew up. I remember going to the 12th floor on the main project and I had to climb up the stairs due to elevators being broken. I didn't mind but wow, thanks to lady luck no one messed with me. I am an Investigator for the city so I had to.
A Very sinister place at it's worst. But at it's best, Candyman is 1 of the most potent atmospheres for film ever to be released.
The town won't miss these projects. But you can never change the people. Never.
