Love the video. I want to stay here or the new Cosmo next summer. did u get comp'd??? I'll be out to Vega,s my 2nd home in two weeks for all of the conventions
@chicagomarchingbands thanks for watching my vid. yea i want to try cosmo as well the next time im in town. no i didnt get comp'd. i rarely play but i got a good deal on their promotion.
@mochiban never been asked that question before and it's a good one. as far as the view goes, both suites offer almost identical views. even though this suite is called "corner suite" u can see that it offers panoramic view. i love the rooms equally bc it's pretty much the same concept but slightly different view. i have to base my decision on the hotels as a whole and i have to say i like aria more. while vdara offers exclusivity im not completely sold on the idea of non gaming hotel in vegas.
Is there security outside of the elevators in the Aria resort? A lot of times you MIGHT (depending on the time of day) be asked to show "Aria" suite key before entering elevator lobby.
@elevatorgeek762 it depends what room you have. If you have a regular room, there will be constant security asking to show your keycard. if you have a sky suite, you are given a keycard that will register with the elevators leading up to the sky suites (regular keycards wont register), thus eliminating the need for security.
It's funny how this corner suite is nothing like the floor plan on the Aria website. Are you 100% positive this is the Corner Suite? I can't seem to find a floor plan on Aria's website that looks like the plan in your video. Could this be the Crystal of Hospitality Suite?
@jcsdesign yes im positive that it's a corner suite. according to my email confirmation that's what i was charged for. however i went back to the site and checked out the floorplan and completely agree with u that my room looked nothing like their floorplan. thanks for watching.
@uscballer14 Through further research, there are three variations of the corner suite: city view/panoramic and regular. These three different variations of corner suite is floating around on youtube. Of the three, yours is best. How much did you pay per night? e-mail if you wish: jcsdesign at hotmailcom
I don't know about 4-6 different corner suites, but I can confirm that there are 3 variations since there is proof of it on youtube and I checked with registration at check in. How can you tell there are 4-6 versions from a 3D model on google earth? You can't see the floor plans.
yeah i was just speculating. if the corner suites are at the corners of the hotel (the rooms at the end of buildings), and aria has 6 corners corners (east, west, north and south ends of tower 1, north and south ends of tower 2), i deduced that those could be the corner suites. but then again, i don't know if they could be used as part of other suites or facilities. it was just a guess.
@endlsswing That's a good thought, but that isn't how it is done at Aria. The corner at each tower are the elevator shafts. However, during my stay I photographed the floor plan behind my door and it shows 4 corner suites on that floor. Although, to my knowledge there are only 3 variations, 1 of the 3 variations is repeated on the same floor even though they may have different views.
@elevatorwarrior i guess u missed theh early part of my vid. i really appreciate the question but comments are welcomed as well, as im trying to improve my filmmaking skills. i was on 34th floor.
@uscballer14 Oh, the suite looked extremely nice. I think that there are aroung 58 floors in this hotel. How fast are the elevators at the Aria Hotel And Resort??
@uscballer14 Cool, I am glad that they are fast. I have always loved fast elevators that go really fast. Nice suite!!!! I really hope that you enjoyed you're time in Las Vegas.
Cool what floor was you on and what would you recommend is the lowest floor to be on? Many thanks, Xray
