I can not stop watching this! I get all nostalgic and shit cuz I was 14 when the original album came out and I was a total freak about Weezer so the fact that Tegan and Sara not only cover this, but with MATT fucking SHARP!!!! Holy shit dude this is awesome!

This is a pretty rough cover - even average Weezer cover bands do a better job, in my humble opinion. The lead vocalist seems to lack the vocal range of Rivers, which is noteworthy, given the fact that she is female, and Rivers is not. Also, the guitar solo is not close, and not really even an interpretation. Finally, the rhythm guitar player (and the lead guitar player) seems to lazy to play the entire chords, so they simply play single notes on some of the important parts of the rhythm. Boo!

@cartmen73 fair enough, at least you give constructive feedback. You should just probably be aware it was just something they wanted to try out and more than likely would never seriously attempt a Weezer cover, but since Matt was there and he covered one of their songs and is their friend, they thought they'd give it a try. Also, this was only like their third time playing it live, they probably threw it in there once they knew Matt was coming.

@cartmen73 I also like constructive feedback rather than commenting they sucked or something :) But if you want some constructive feedback, I looked at your videos, and I didn't think your "Say It Ain't So" cover was all that great. Everything was spot on, but something about the vocals was just off. . . Plus, Tegan and Sara were touring and probably didn't have much of a chance to play this song. I don't know if you could use that as an excuse XD
