Just got this stick a couple weeks ago, it does feel quite light actually. It feels lighter than my S17 when in my hands (even though the S17 is overall a lighter stick) The O-stick does not feel that great on slapshots for some reason. You have to hit it perfect to get off a good slapshot, but when you do hit it perfect, the puck just flies. With the O-stick, my snap shot has gotten loads better as has my backhand.
bout the same. i like the 8.0.8 better. it's lighter and in my opinion it has a better shot. on my team, one kid has the 8.0.8 and another has the 10k. even the kid with the 10k says the 8.0.8 better but it's ur choice.
Just bought this stick, i have the best shot with it. Much better than my XXXX, Very light and the feel for the puck is amazing, I recomend this stick for anyone who wants to improve there shot!
i have the 3.0.3 o-stick and thiong is my 3erd one that i broke so it is a nice stick but i wouldnt recament getting it and ya in a 14 year old kid and i used a senour stick
yes, I love my Hamrlik 6.0.6, and it's strong, I've took slashes from players that's all their good at is slashing and the 6.0.6 shrugs them off and puts the puck in the net. 50 bucks and less chance of it breaking, hell the original O-stick only had 7 slots in it. Anyway, RBK shits on the Vapor X60, fuck you Carl the Rink Guy!!!!!!
This is a rip of from the zone envy floorball stick, if you don't belive me just search zone envy on google:) nice to see that hockey is learning from floorball. Keep that up!
do the prostock ones not have the flex reading for where u cut it down cause i got mine like over summer from darren helm and when i retaped the top there wasnt any of that
this is helpful. i was going to buy a warrior stick but i didnt like the feel either. So i got a Bauer Vapor 40, it is soooo crazy, i cant wait to try the X60 and i want to try this rbk stick
Anyone thats looking to buy a stick go with either bauer or warrior, they are starting to blow every other company out of the water. +Easton - sticks break alot more then average. +Reebok - made for looks not quality. +CCM - weight is totally messed up on the sticks, they just dont feel like a high end hockey stick like the bauer /nike bauer, and warrior. Im just stating the facts, i dont want to get bashed.
Im not bashin, just sayin that the majority of ppls opinions, are usually the complete opposite. Warrior is shit, they focus on graphics and not performance, they shud stick to lax. Majority of bauer sticks are good, but very whippy flexs and ppl say they're just time bombs after 30 days. Easton is the #1 stick choice in the nhl, figure it out for yourself. i kno loads of ppl wit the 10k, the kickpoint and durability is nuts. Not to mention its light as hell. It's like an s17 on steroids
lol, have u tried the dolomite HD stick? I bet you havent because u would NOT say that the stick is shit, in any way! And if you bet the nike bauer one95 with a 100 flex like i also have it is not too whippy, like alot of the other nike bauer sticks. and easton is not the #1 choice of hockey sticks HAHA it is nike bauer by far! And i agree that warrior used to make shit stuff but watch, within the next 2 years it will be all bauer and warrior.
I rele hope warrior gets better bc they do make good lookin stick. But yes i hav used one. I don't own a dolomite, but i've used my friend's and i didnt think it was anything special, not the best balance, and i didnt like the kick or feel. Not to mention 10 days after he bought it it snapped in two places, along with his kronik. and that is no question that easton is the most used stick in the nhl, just watch any nhl game. Bauer does come in a very very close second tho
warrior is for looks i have a dolomite and macdaddy biggest fucking waste of money if wasted and i cracked them within 4 moths that i bought them. nike bauer and rebok is the way to go
this one looks a lot better. my old o-stick broke :/ it was very bad anyways... i have vapor XXII now but looking for a diff stick... send me msg if u have old stick to sell semi cheap ;)
i want this stick so bad i have used the 9K 0-stick for a year and i have excelled from using it. i didn't really like the green but i liked the feel of the stick. it looks so sick. will it be coming in all sizes?(jr, int, sr)
brake a RBK stick before the warranty ends then brake the one they sent you to replace it and then you call them to say it doestn make sence that their sticks brake easy and thell give u a free of our choice (worked for me)
I think its cool but not everybody wants to spend $200-$300 on a stick, i think thats ridiculous but probably worth it. I used to have a synergy grip (Iginla) it was great a little pricey but great. Manufacturers need to find a material that is strong, cheap and will work into making a hockey stick that everyone can enjoy. Again that's just my perspective...
i want a ccm stick... but i forgot what its called.. its mostly make and has a silver 0 or o near the bottom of that shaft,, what is it called again??
whoops, yea i wanted to know if anyone used them cause i was wonderin if there was a preference. my bros really liked the s17, but they break wayyyyyyyyyy too often. my one bro got a one95 and my other brother broke it on a simple snap shot (i think it was in the warmups of a practice). so yea, just wonderin peoples opinions.
i watch datsyuk pretty much every game on fsd and vs and he may have used an 8.0.8, but pretty much every game i've seen he's using the 10k. i really want to get one of these for my brothers, but of course theres only been leftys on ebay. anyone used this and the 10k?
i agree with everyone else, the white holes are lame. i wish they would have blacked out the holes, aside from that looks pretty good, i want my brothers to try this when it comes out, they've broken every other stick out there (s17, synergy elites, mac daddys, kroniks, u+, xn10s, endures, one90s, and the new one95 broke after maybe 30 minutes of snapshots)
no stick ever costs that much. the most expensive stick ive ever seen is $299 canadian (kronik). when this stick comes out itll probaly be around $250
I wish they didnt have the white on "O"s and had just made them chrome or something, the white just makes me think the whole things made out of plastic.
420 grams is far from heavy, the lighest stick ever was 395 soo, its not grams anyways its balance if its off balance it will feel quite a bit heavier
