@lyons7486 well it is true that war promotes PVP i love pvp personally. but i must say the sever iron rock has enough ppl do dugnons. i know your probly gonna call bs but i only had to wait about 4 min to do my first dungon and the avrage wait time for me is maybe ten minutes so its not that bad and they have fixed alot of bugs in the pqs so just give the endless free trial i try ill play with u if u want and help you thro it . pm me if ur interested

But yeah if i play again which i may ill hit u up. How's the PvE in this game? I am a die hard WoW player but i love trying new MMO's, i loved AoC but the bugs and community just sucked too hard..i'm looking for a game that has good pve, raiding, dungeons etc..also love the pvp but i know that WAR has that already..so someone please get back to me if i loved WoW pve will i fall in love with Warhammers?

I recently bought it from the day I activated my sub I started doing BG/SC's And im level 17 ATM, Had 1 Experience with a PVE Dungeon called Hunters Vale, Its nice looking but overall buggy and quite hard. Id say Stick to WoW if you want to PVE, Or try AoC again. But If your down with PVP go right ahead and purchase WAR its money well spent.
Aion isn't that much better than WoW. However, it is more polished, but it wont' even come close to "kicking wow's ass". The only game that may do that is TOR or possibly Blizzards next mmo.

Wow will continue to have expansions as long as there are people playing the game, the next one is likely the Emerald Dream, then some underwater one. However I don't play that game anymore, i picked up the trial for this a while back and it was very unbalanced, AoEs did the same amount of dmg as single target spells for each target. Some of the classes were so gimped it was annoying playing them. Its not a perfect game and Mythic needs to listen to their subscribers or end up like wow.
Warhammer at first was kinda funky, but I took a break for a few months and came back. OMG it;s awesome now, thye fixed the bugs and balanced the classes out better. Also you see people going around in mismatched blues and purples, it feels just like old school wow days when it was fun. I'm loving it right now, and if you come to the game roll on dark Crag, best server in the game.
Nah Warhamme risn't "failing" persay, they just tried to do to much to early, but its stabilizing now. There's a good core membership in the game and the content their releasing is alll top notch. The only reason it seemed to die early on was the released 52 servers in the first week, then when some people decided they didn;t want to play, and some others went back to wow for wotlol a lot of server pops dropped. .
but i do believe that wow will come back up once again, and yes i feel the same about wow and im looking at this game but it looks like everything is tank and spank and pvp is really not balanced that well (not that wow is atm)

Meh WoW is old already this is their last expansion, its not really worth trying to get the best of the best items now. Warhammer owns WoW, ppl just stick to wow cuz thier used to it, but i know War will be just as popular
Since you want to check out everything before buying the game, I suggest you go to warhammer website and find out everything there. That said, yes, the game has crafting as well as gathering professions. The dungeons are private, but the Public Quests (not instances) are not. However, the loot in PQ's goes out based on roll, but also taking in account the contribution points too (meaning, you have to participate, not just sit there).
It's pretty much LOTRO only with PVP inplemented and lesser graphic than LOTRO, the rest is a clone of WoW. I am having fun playing Warhammer for now, but I think it's not because it's a "great" mmo, it's probably just because it's new, most of us needed a break from WoW, and this game is kind of the answer. I will probably go back to WoW, when the xpac comes out.

1.) WAR has been in the making for years, Blizzard stole some ideas. Not bashing either of the two, just stating a fact.
2.) It's impossible to have a completely different interface/combat-system/quests becuase of all the other MMO's out, it's like trying to buy the most original Car out there, someone will always have a care like yours no matter how original you think you are. (lol)

White Lions use axes, are melee dps and not tanks and they have lions running alongside them (true, there were a few lions, but those were from his teammates).
SM is such a boring looking model, almost all Order are. No wonder the masses are going Destruction. I laughed ever time a mob died they raced to the lootz, greedy kids.
after seeing this video, i don't know what to do first, the PvE or RvR, there is so much to do. i guess ill just do PvE with a little RvR on the side once in a while, im looking forward to completing(or at least trying to) the tome of knowledge since i love the lore.

I have some questions.
- Is the battle system same as wow now? I mean, a group setup with a tank, healer, dps?
- And when it comes to pve, do the bosses have a strategy you will have to follow to kill it?
I can see that the graphics are way better then Wow, except for the animations (movement, atks, reflexes etc)
i played War for 1 month when it came. It sucked. Is it better now?
