Yes they have fantastic lows, I had them in a low tuned ported enclosure. I had them in 2.6 cubic foot net (1.3 cubic feet each) with the port tuned to 25hz.
What size and type enclosure are you thinking of putting them in?
I just Traded my rockford fosgate 2 12 inch p1 subs and 400 watt peak power pioneer amp for 2 15 ich re sr subs was it a good deal and if anyone can help me on how to power them efficintly please let me know
Did you ever get the port help you needed> I ran two of these 10's in 2.6cuft, slot port at 33hz with 55sq" of port area, CRX style in my acura, they were very loud while hitting every note just right.
I sold the box and woofers to a friend with a simular car and it was not as loud. Port to the side would have been better.
Depends soley on the vehical they are going in, and the musical preference you hold. Space wise... I think they tend to do well with a bit over 1^ft for each, the'll get deep, stay quick and take power as long as you set crossovers ect. correctly and dont clip.
Thats great to know, I have an RE8 I am actualy going to be placing my order for the first one tonight, only one though because I'm tight on cash. Eventualy, the pair will be enclosed in a TTB enclosure for my Acura. Once again, thanks.
I saw this on ROE, I wish to see more vids of the SR. How much of an improvment are the SR over the RE series, if you can give me an idea? I own a Diamond D315, I am thinking to replace it with 2 SR10's, Thanks.
do you know how many watts those are a peice cus im getting two of them and id like to know lol

@runescapeisawsomeful
I ran a pair of original SR10's from 500 WRMS each, this was a good balance of power and was not too much for them.

Hi, since you review speakers, would you recommend those RE Subwoofers?
A car audio shop added them for me in a quote, actually 1 x 12" RE subwoofers, and it's for a small sedan (yaris)
Are they any good? sorry don't know squat about car audio, that's why I'm asking, and never heard of RE branch before

@3dfreak
Hi,
The RE or the REX is the very bottom base model, they can;t take that much power and have a average xmax value.
To be honest I would go up a step to the RE SRX or Re SEX (or the older RE SR / RE SE) range.

Well I ran the pair of 10 from 500 WRMS each, this was a good balance of power and was not too much for them.
I have run a solid 1000 WRMS into one and it did take it fine, you have to be carefull not to push it to far with that much power.

blazeblunts1 3 years ago
Well not really, the SX has a smooth concave cone with invetered dustcap this does not, yes they both use the RE logo which is on the SX,SR and MT.

I will be going another few vids of the SR's later this week.
The SR are much better than RE RE series.
The SR's actually displace similar amount of air to the RE SE but they are a bit wider bandwidth than SE as they play to 50-75hz region better.
Two 10 inch SR 10 ported is good this is what I have in my car. 3 x 10's would be even better if you have the space.

I have it on a Crossfire VR1000D so about 1000 WRMS. The sub was loaded in a 1.1 vented enclosure tuned to 26hz.
