If you pour coffee into a Thermos at 6:00 AM, why is it still warm at 6:00 PM? With limited opportunity for objects to throw off heat, space/the moon is not a cold place but an uncomfortably WARM place. Objects in a vacuum can throw off radiant heat but it's a slow process, similar to coffee cooling in a Thermos.
I did not say lead shielding wasn't useful. I said it was the worst shielding to use against particle radiation. Lead shielding is good against ray radiation. You know the EME you are talking about? If you are right (we got to the moon) then we can get some of the Astronots to suit up and clean up chernobyl because Beta and Alpha radiation is so easy to stop and obviously.... we have figured out how to stop Gamma ray radiation as well so no need for leadsuits hey?
