When I first heard Johnny sing in the early sixties, I fell on love with his voice. Seeing his picture on albums was great. But the very first time I saw him 'live' was in The Andy Williams-show. They were on Norwegian tv for many years. THEN I really fell in love with him! And I've been that ever since.

far be it for me criticize the wonderful johnny mathis but he sings one of the lines the wrong way round. Love is natures way of living, a reason to be giving,should be, Love is natures way of giving, a reason to be living,all other versions by other singers sing it this way,not that it makes much difference his version is still one of the best.

My favs list is about a mile long of JM's YouTube videos that you generous and thoughtful people have uploaded for his zillion fans. He never goes out of style. Everything he sings is so superbly sung. I love these older videos of him when he was so young capturing all our hearts with his memorable performances. I want all I can find of him. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. Johnny Mathis had stage presence, from the beginning of his career, but he improved it, with his technique and use of a microphone. One man said he took his son to Johnny's concerts, so he could learn how to use the microphone. Most of the singers of today, could improve their performances by watching him like this, or with the microphone. I have added this to my, "Favorites," and will add it to one of my Playlists.
