hi, realy great video and narrative! i was wondering how you are filming this by yourself with both hands busy? great clear detailed like you are filming directly from your own eyes as you talk! how are you doing this? any special equiptment i need to get to do this?
also so do you let the new queen fly out to mate and then she returns back to the original nest then she kills the old queen or half swam with her or the old queen swarms before the new one returns? or do you put her in mating box
one of the best videos on beekeeping. Camera stays still and lets us really get a good, good look. So many other videos of hive inspections bounce around so much you can't see what you're looking at. Also, the voice explanation was knowledgeable and easy to listen to. I've been searching for a video or photo of eggs in cells, as well as larave and pollen, and this one shows it beautifully. Thank you.
My dream is to one day become a beekeeper, so I love watching any good quality informative video available (as well as talking to beekeepers in person)! I've come across a couple of your videos and I just have to subscribe to your channel! A job well done on your videos, sir! Thanks for all of the info!
Ready for warm weather myself. I use a Panasonic GS250. I had been using the software that came with the camera. The most recent uploads were done with Adobe Premiere Elements 4.

This is a hard video to watch, the sound of the bee's buzzing, the cicada's in the background. Makes me miss summer.
You have excellent video quality, can we ask what kind of cam and editing program you use?
