  • Amazing lap by an amazing driver. I can watch Eau Rouge corners all day.

  • Did the completely slick tyres come back at 2008?

  • @kynigh 2009 :)

  • @kynigh in 2009

  • what a fantastic what a great lap with no mistake

  • if mc laren did support him he could easliy won the 2007 f1 championship..

  • in soveit russia, you dont drive f1 car... f1 car drives you.

  • no se porque decís que corta la curva de eau rouge cuando sube... eso es envidia y lo demás son tonterías ;)

  • grande grande,ya ls gustaria a los demas tener un piloto asi en su pais

  • JB fan his right side tyres never left the track either

  • Alonso el mejor piloto de F1 q sonido del V8!!!!

  • 30-35 sin sontarle el acelerador simplemente es el mejor alonso the ebest!!!!!

  • 0'34 : small engine overspeed

  • Its only "illegal" ie, he would get a penalty, if he gains advantage over or passes an opponent by cutting a corner.

  • its illegal it BOTH tyres go outside the white line.....

  • @joac21 ähh no that's a part of the track. ;)

  • Impressive!

  • @MrJbfan2010 the curbs counts as a part of the track so in fact it is legal. Normally on other tracks they don't make up any time because the curbs are so high and become very unstable to drive on. Here however he is at max speed and has around 1500kg (without the mass obviously) of downforce which gives massive stability.

  • @sdimm ahh yes that may be true, but in the official rules and regulations going over the white line is cutting the corner

  • @sdimm I guess the driver has to ensure keeping 2 wheels on the road to qualify for a legal time. Correct me if i am wrong.

  • @sdimm

The curbs are not part of the track, the white line determines where the track finishes and it's before the curbs. That's why drivers can't really complain about them, don't like them? don't use them.

  • @sdimm Nope, the curbs don't count as a part of the track, it's always the white line that matters (that is, at least one of the wheels have to stay inside of the white line). This lap would have been discarded in qualifying, however, drivers can get away with them in the race as long as they don't routiely do it.

  • @jkommah As long as at least 2 wheels are on the track, it is fine. You cant tell properly from this angle whether the rear right is on track or not, but given that the Mclaren that year had a really short wheel base, I doubt it.

  • @sdimm actually the regulations say that the kerns are NOT part of the racetrack. The white lines denote the edge of the racetrack.

  • @sdimm Actually kerbs aren't part of track

  • @MrJbfan2010 Same, looks like all 4 wheels were over the white lines.

  • @blainyrules He definitely had all 4 wheels off the track.

  • @MrJbfan2010 Actually this is during a race so it really doesn't matter...

  • great sound

  • king

  • me encanta el sonido del motor mercedes,

  • si el sonido que tenia antes sin las limitaciones y demas sonaba muy bien, lastima que el sonido que tiene ahora no tiene nada que ver con el que tenia antes
