I got confused after the colorized line, you colorized it blue and it was all saturated but then how did you make the inner part to be brighter and white? Did you re-hue/saturation-ed it? or did you put another brighter layer on top? Thx, nice tut btw

You have to hit the "COLORIZE" option on the hue/saturation window.
