I think David is amazing, but I much prefer songs like Barbasol, Mr. Sensitive, Lie, Light On, etc. for him. They're awesome and really showcase his vocals more imo. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks so since it went PLATINUM. NIN are good but why should David go in a different direction when so many fans love where he is musically right now? JMO

OK, had to go check out Trent Reznor's version of this, since I wasn't familiar w/the song. David's is definitely 'grittier'; love the resonance in his voice! Audience's reaction was kind of mellow. I'm guessing not a lot of people knew that song; it wasn't a 'radio hit' for NIN. But if David is wanting to go in this direction I'm all for it! I hope he is able to fulfill his creative aspirations w/out feeling he has to cater to everyone's taste. Can't wait to hear the next record!! Go David!

I was in the very back by the sound board & security was nabbing us too! Tried to click photo (like this person did) to trick security but they were persistent. Even though I loved it, I thought crowd reaction was mild to this cover.Probably because it wasn't familiar to everyone.
