do you ever have carb problems cause we had a 79, and the vv is notoriously troubllesome. later i had a 85 gm and i dint have any problems because i think ford re-engineered the carburetor that year
This had the 351W with the Variable Venturi carb on it, and i didnt have a lick of trouble with the carb, save for some water i accidently ran through it...but thats another story haha
Luke, time for new springs in the back she sags like a grand marquis on the driver side.... :-) if you want to give it another inch and a half and some stiffness in the back, use station wagon springs... been there done that. and don't bother with variable rate coils, just use linear rate. the variable rate suck... i've tried that too

Time to ditch all that and get a cam, 4bbl intake and a 4bbl carb and headers and a good H pipe!...that car would scream!
Oh and fix or install a trac loc;) no more peg leg burnies!
