Capitalism isn't fair: that's true. But it does give people the opportunity to go as far as they want to. Example: if you're willing to have 2 jobs instead of one, you can have more money than your peers who have a comparable income. Also: if you're willing to spend your free time learning something useful = improvement. Going as far as you want to go is a good thing. I'm against bailouts. Corporations should FAIL if they are managed by failures. Success depends on personal behavior.
Many people were born poor and they used whatever opportunities were available to them to make money. I am jealous of the wealthiest 1% like most people, but I don't want to tax them or take their money. I just want to get paid for my work. Corporations get special favors from Congress: that's wrong. Being fair is not giving anyone special favors. Let people succeed or fail by their own efforts.
I have no problem with folks being "rich", bear in mind the average African envys our homeless, but you can't get to be a multi-millionaire and especially not a billionaire without screwing a lot of people. I also want to get rid of these arrogent, old money rich! 100% "death tax"!
What Moore claims AIG and Goldman sucks do is capitalism, its not its wall street corperate fascism.
Small buisnesses that produce real products are capatalistic, big wall street firms are just parasitic leaches using political connections to loot the nations wealth via trying to monotize all assets.
So does this mean that freebooting Goldman Sachs could be the de facto regulator of the carbon market?
As the global warming bubble inflates and then bursts, will Goldman Sachs self-regulate all the way to the bank making record profits at the expense and misery of taxpayers and consumers
great film. If they don't show this movie near me (i'll look really hard for a place that shows it, and get the DVD no mater what) i plan on downloading this movie since for some reason it's hard to find a showing of this movie in Canada since it doesn't have to do with Canadian politics very much.
Its a dark comedy

Although I largely agree with what he is saying, him quoting popes about greedy corruption and power is comical to say the least.

The global warming scam passed by Congress. Goldman Sachs is in the middle of it, as usual a potential trillion dollar sure thing.
And Former Vice President Al Gore who will profit from the cap-and-trade plan through his company, Generation Investment Management,
Gore is joined by three former Goldman Sachs heads in their carbon offsets business.
