Para nós leigos..., ver funcionando torna-se indiferente. Gostaria de ver a montagem, como foi posicionado, como foi feito o catavento, se o motor tem freios, quantas baterias recebem a carga, quanto de carga gera, etc. etc.
some generators will under load (current draw) need significantly higher torque to keep spinning and producing output current.
others have to spin very fast to keep voltage levels usable.
it all depends on the design of the generator, some turbines, spin very quickly, and build up their torque from momentum, while others spin with great torque but at low speed.
commercial turbines rotate in the 40-60 rpm range at the rotor
great desighn shouldnt have to much issues with the chain if its working like that constatly i wouldnt think if so you could apray paint it with rustolium or keep it greased
Very nice. The mast seems a little too flexible tho. Some more guy wires should solve that. Do you also have solar panels on your system?

great looking machine ,I see it works very well

nice work. tried the belt chain mechanism on mine and it didnt work. i positioned it at the front. guess that was the error.

Looks like the Ganja Guys took a lesson from nature and imitated a bird's wing.
Narrow blade tips and wider at the hub produces both speed and torque.
Primary flight feathers on a bird give it lift, the secondary flight feathers allow the bird to fly distances.
Lift = speed
Torque = distance
Variable pitch hubs increase speed and reduce wind resistance for speed control in high winds.

definitely, but it also depends on the generator.

How long will the chain drive last in the open air?
ZKMX7 2 years ago
been up over 6 months and still working, never been 'serviced' since

looks like it wants to turn out of the wind when the speed picks up,whats causing that,the blades
jeffmolly1 2 years ago
the wind turbine tail is simply tracking the wind direction. my guess is the angle of the video camera giving an illusion of your observation

Hi Roger,
Impressive. Good work!
We will post it on our website. - Josh
How are the blades working out for you?

blades are working out great. i live in the city and a lot of people see it and stop and want one.
