I'm a Mio A701 owner and trust me, my device works like... 2 times faster then the one in the video? Everything depends on the rom you're using - i suggest flashing it with a more "modern" one, there are plenty unofficial 5.0, 6.0, 6.1 and even 6.5 roms out there that work like a charm.
not only that but the qualcomm processor is more efficient than the xscale in the mio. it like in a desktop when a core 2 duo 1.8ghz destroy a turion x2 a 2.2ghz.

So i taste it and igo 2006 on my a701 started in 18 s. That is more better result than on your mio.

Why is the kaiser with a slower processor speed (400Mhz) faster than the Mio A701. Anyway Awesome Phone

Because his Mio A701's ROM is lousy, not optimized.
