@loyeti WOw...Didn't know that. I would love to learn how to cast my own wrought iron into porch decorations like the old plantation houses (like New Orleans ironwork) , but I don't know a thing about it yet. Thanks for the info.

Good , you're wearing safety glasses. Many times i see people working in machine shop wearing no safety glasses, i can't beleive.

@loyeti It looks like cold-rolled mild steel to me. Isn't wrought iron cast from iron?
