I build a 2000 to 3000 dollar computer for 1100. How I shoped around and I bought all my part from FRYS when they were having a sale Only parts that trully cost me was my videocard and my processor. One terabyte hard drive cost me 70 bucks and it was a pretty good one too. RoM drive could have mid decent bluray for about 108-200 bucks, BUt I have a PS3. Face it console are not really better than PC. May cost money to constanly upgrade. But why you waste money to constantly keep up. Just wait.

1) terribly outdated specs that cause long loading screens, lag, and worse graphics than a $30 PC graphics card.
2. Lack of dedicated servers in online games, causing a "host with the most" scenario, with laggy kids and modders you can't kick. Also can't set map ahead of time or lock unfair weapons.

well at some point he is right. pc is not made for gaming. but wait it depends on what for sort PC you have? is it for business or entertainment. some PC arent made for gaming and some do. the PC's that are meant for gaming have a more advanced GPU and CPU. the textures and graphics ar much better and speed too. it can even go over the 30 FPS. and keyboard and mouse? I build a 2000 to 3000 dollar computer for 1100. How I shoped around and I bought all my part from FRYS when they were having a sale Only parts that trully cost me was my videocard and my processor. One terabyte hard drive cost me 70 bucks and it was a pretty good one too. RoM drive could have mid decent bluray for about 108-200 bucks, BUt I have a PS3. Face it console are not really better than PC. May cost money to constanly upgrade. But why you waste money to constantly keep up. Just wait.

Call of Duty and L4D are different games one is about ranking and getting new weapons and the other is about surviving zombie apocalypse. Reason consoles suck:
1) terribly outdated specs that cause long loading screens, lag, and worse graphics than a $30 PC graphics card.
2. Lack of dedicated servers in online games, causing a "host with the most" scenario, with laggy kids and modders you can't kick. Also can't set map ahead of time or lock unfair weapons.
3. $60/month for xbox live? enuff said.
I owned a 360 fora few years and switched due to unbearable online.

The only good thing at consoles is the price but if we buy games for both pc and consoles, consoles are more expensive on the long run ( overall) and pc is better cause you can ACTUALLY MAKE MONEY with it (office, work, presentations, exams) while a console ACTUALLY TAKES MONEY from your pocket. I'm both console and Pc gamer and I can definitely say that consoles are much much better. You just play the game and don't have to worry about those fuckin' specifications. And one more thing, games on consoles don't lag and I hate when the game lags. Pc is for internet, console is for gaming. Period.

The xbox 360 and ps3 graphics cards are not even equivalent to a 7900 gt ($20 give or take lol). I'm sure you already knew this though :)
