Ugh. I just saw Carlin last September with my father who has cancer. Front row seats, cuz I wanted to do something special for the old dying man who has loved Carlin since he was first around. I can't believe my dad has outlasted the man we saw that night. Carlin seemed pretty motherfucking healthy. I am crushed. RIP.

For the record, I was no heckling. I was cracking comments and I didn't even think he would notive initially. I guess he thought I was funny or something because he made me the last third of his act. Patton was laughing so hard I think he'd hardly think I was "disrupting the flow of his act". He was probably thinking "Damn I'm killing tonight." He even told me he thought I was great after the show.
