Disciplining a child is biblical not a child abuse

Have you noticed in the bible jesus orders parents to kill their kids under certain circumstances?

"Anyone who curses or hits his father or mother must be put to death." [Mthw 15:4; Ex 21:15,17]

Now I know you are going to say "That's OT dude."

Please remember Jesus claimed he WAS the Hebrew OT god in John 8:58 "before Abraham was, I am." So Jesus was the god who commanded parents to kill their kids.

To me it seems like the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Jesus wants those kids dead though!

the bible is no t for spanking it is for beatings in the old testiment. these beatings were so brutal that the next step when they didnt work was to stone the child to death. you can not live by the beating part and totally ignore the stoning  the answer to this is that christ took our chastisment for us on the cross so we can be at peace. one can not spank without rebelling against 1 john 4:18

interesting vid. if this god character is suppose to be all-knowing, wouldn't you think that he would have a more effective and compassionate means of discipline? after all, he is considered a merciful god. what retards
