Being that the USA was at war with Japan when this cartoon was made, there were lots of offensive Japanese stereotypes shown in cartoons back then. If you think this is bad, don't ever watch "Tokio Jokio", a 1943 Looney Tunes cartoon, directed by the same man who directed this cartoon.

Funny thing is, the director of this cartoon, Norm McCabe, would work on Tiny Toon Adventures 50 years later.
