no im saying that this guy says generally leather jackets have better all round protection then mesh but im sure some better quality mesh jackets protect you better then some cheap leather jackets anyway im no expert im just gathering this from these videos.

Mesh is not very resistant against abrasions. Depending on the speed when you hit pavement the mesh will be gone within a span of 10ft. They are more comfortable and offer some protection with the foam padding, but ultimately, leather is the best choice. Dress for the crash. Ride safe.

leather one has greater protection from friction when you have a spill he explains it in his other video about jackets, he also mentions leather jackets can be much hotter and some are less comfortable but they look better in my opinion
