I have not been playing Lineage 2, but sometimes I remember old friends from the game and our adventure, and gets a little sad about the fact that they no longer return to that time. I never thought that the game can be so strongly to become part of my life.
They say people would get bored if they would remake an old server, I SAY THAT IS NOT FUCKING TRUE...c1-interlude was the best moments of my life...the project should have been closed on interlude and let it be and start lineage 3... (servers kept active..if people didnt like l3 they would have gone back to interlude) but nooooo G*fagstar decided : Hey lets make this game as wowish as possible..will start with the armors and then flying ships and after that the cherry up top,robot chicken mount
C5 is good, 6 too but 4 is classic...oooh i remember when i had a shit internet and when i was porting from some city to some place (deethpass) i could make a food for myself or go to the toilet, do some fitness...when i finaly could go lvl up my hero or just exp. somebody killed me...and then "nickname" =FUCK YOU MOTHERFUCKER= and then my favourite "TO VILLAGE"....ooooh memories :D:D
Respect to all players in the world from the Russia. OMG, I have a strong nostalgia. We can never return to those days. The company NCSoft has spoiled the reputation of the game, starting with the Kamael chronicles. Yes, of course, they madethe game more colorful, but the game has lost its uniqueness and originality, and now is no different from other games like WoW, Aion, PW, etc. C1-Interlude chronicles will be forever in my memory...
I started playing L2 on server called "The Abyss" la2(dot)theabyss(dot)ru when it was on C5 it was 2006/07 year i can't remember... Great server, so many good memories, but now The Abyss is on H5 and I quit playing it... So i Would like to play c4 to try it if you guys are playing any c4 server let me know... PLEASE

@oxoConstantinEoxo TheAbyss RU has one of the largest populations for any server currently up (free server), so no doubt they'd manage to get in the top 200 - which, isn't much of an achievement considering servers with much, MUCH lower populations like tehgamers which I'd say has less than 1000 people is so much higher than it in the rankings. No bugs? Are you serious? Almost 90% of the quests don't work, the geodata is the worst of any server I've ever played on.
@oxoConstantinEoxo I mean believe it or not on official Gatekeepers don't cost any money at all plus completing quests levels you faster than grinding, plus you get better rewards. Then, I forget that the 7x servers etc are so shitty they don't make quests easier to complete due to how fast you level up off the mobs, so the drop rate for quest items and the amount dropped is still 1x along with a 1x reward making it utterly pointless to do quests when you play the private servers.

Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if you were one of the people who bitched about how NCSOFT is 'killing l2' with all the changes, making it more welcoming to new players. The reason they're doing that is because the private servers are fucking murdering the official ones. THere's god knows how many people not paying for the game, not supporting the company that makes the game at all. They have to do something to keep the numbers high. Fuck private servers.

I remember the first time i went to Dion i was facepalm with all those people. One week later i went from Dion to Giran on foot trought Execution Grouds, because i didnt have money to teleport (i almost died in EG!). I remember spending all day killing raidboss and spending more than 2 weeks farming materials for my doom heavy....one of my friends had a soul bow, it was precious and very rare at the time. Only the big clans had some A grade sets......i wiil never forget C4!!
I feel...like since Interlude, Lineage 2 team lost the perspective of the game: Armors, levels, hunting areas, even kamaels and armors are like a desperate way to retain advanced players, but without thinking it well enough. It's like a non planned evolution. C4 will be, for me the best L2 chrnicle, and C5 will be the last good update.

C4 was the best chronicle . It was designed for gamers. Nowadays , everyone is in a rush and the game is not designed for gamers anymore but for people that wanna do smth quick and then leave.
I still remember being lvl 75 in B grade still struggling to make some A grade items with a full party or Ketra/Varka quests . These last versions of the L2 (HB, Gracia etc) are ruin everything. Well :" all good things come to an end".

Hahah still remember going from Runescape to this... a friend on Call of Duty 2 was playing this game... and he couldn't understand that I still played Runescape (little did I know of course). He said: ''Dude.... go play lineage 2'' I: ''What?''
Then he showed me... I immediatly gave away my RS account :D And started on C4... still remember my first char: Human Paladin, Blue Wolf Heavy armor, Some kind of mace (forgot name) and a Red&Black shield or something.
@MegaG15 i started c3 on l2extreme because i couldnt find a way to pay for retail and i feared all the bots anyway XD i played retail c5? i think? i was one of the only hero warlords for about 2 years on franz... then i had to go to uni and at the same time lineage 2 started sucking. now there's only a few hundred players on each of the retail servers...it's really depressing because it is quite an amazing game
@harper16 Yea I played on L2 Dragon Network on C4 :D It was so damn awesome... alot of players! Giran was always a lagfest haha... but a good one though :D But then the FBI discovered some of the illegal servers and shut em down :( I played on Nightmare x15 server back then.

This music is so peacefull and it relax me... i remember the old times when i was playig on a low rate server and when I didn´t even know he soulshots existance.
It had terrible mechanics, an awful leveling curve, and annoying bugs.
And I loved every goddam minute of it.
Logging into wars, sieges, financial backstabbing/monopoly, dealing with farmers/invaders into our grind spots. Nothing like it will happen ever again.
@lacker101 i've been trying to find the same experience ever since... i only found l2 because of someone i was playing bf2 with at the time, i can't even remember who it was, i want to thank him for 8 years of memories. past interlude l2 got worse and worse, and now i can't play it. i want the old days back :(

I remember looting some dude's 1.6M pet gear and running away. To this day that was the happiest morning of my life.
Probably sometime Koreans will pay attention and will listen to opinion of players of fine times of that time instead of will work for the sake of a profit. I sleep and trust that the moment will come
When I have started to play approximately in 2006 it there was a mad game! Productivity of the computer during time of that time was weak both I couldn't also could play nobody more than two windows simultaneously, but I was happy. Then approximately I studied in elementary grades I was glad and happy. Having passed 4 years at present I can tell with full accuracy of anything better something time when I played C4 Wasn't present.
I would like again to play this game with friends, but when I turn it's not the same as before .. I am no longer a noob and have no such satisfaction in every minute spent with this game. I also have poor grades at school and probably the worse. Maybe someday I will break up and eventually run again this amazing game that is Lineage 2!

Dragon Network server... just having a little clan with 6 guys... playing, leveling up. So awesome... the music; the graphics at that time were fenomenal... I hope Tera will give me back this feeling.

Hahah still remember going from Runescape to this... a friend on Call of Duty 2 was playing this game... and he couldn't understand that I still played Runescape (little did I know of course). He said: ''Dude.... go play lineage 2'' I: ''What?''
Then he showed me... I immediatly gave away my RS account :D And started on C4... still remember my first char: Human Paladin, Blue Wolf Heavy armor, Some kind of mace (forgot name) and a Red&Black shield or something.
So nice!

@MegaG15 i started c3 on l2extreme because i couldnt find a way to pay for retail and i feared all the bots anyway XD i played retail c5? i think? i was one of the only hero warlords for about 2 years on franz... then i had to go to uni and at the same time lineage 2 started sucking. now there's only a few hundred players on each of the retail servers...it's really depressing because it is quite an amazing game

@harper16 Yea I played on L2 Dragon Network on C4 :D It was so damn awesome... alot of players! Giran was always a lagfest haha... but a good one though :D But then the FBI discovered some of the illegal servers and shut em down :( I played on Nightmare x15 server back then.

It had terrible mechanics, an awful leveling curve, and annoying bugs.
And I loved every goddam minute of it.
Logging into wars, sieges, financial backstabbing/monopoly, dealing with farmers/invaders into our grind spots. Nothing like it will happen ever again.

When I have started to play approximately in 2006 it there was a mad game! Productivity of the computer during time of that time was weak both I couldn't also could play nobody more than two windows simultaneously, but I was happy. Then approximately I studied in elementary grades I was glad and happy. Having passed 4 years at present I can tell with full accuracy of anything better something time when I played C4 Wasn't present.

I would like again to play this game with friends, but when I turn it's not the same as before .. I am no longer a noob and have no such satisfaction in every minute spent with this game. I also have poor grades at school and probably the worse. Maybe someday I will break up and eventually run again this amazing game that is Lineage 2!
