  • I watched his UnSung documentary where he was doin this song live as well and he said "....chase your big ass all across the room" lmfao i luv bobby he tell it like it is and sing wit everything he got. Listen 2 dat gut!

  • Just saw "Unsung" Bobby Womack on TvOne...Awesome insight to the man and his music. He is truly a living legend, an Unsung Legend.mThis song is one of my favorites

  • I love this song and I am a woman. He told that sister right! The brother was keeping it real!

  • Fuck! This negro tells it like it is!!!!

  • I Love a little Bit of All Music, But OLD School Is my Passion, Because I am Old School.

  • BET Awards......Hint Hint! Mr. Bobby Womack perhaps!!! Lifetime Achievement Award Let's get it!

  • i swear to god this man..................yo he sung the shit outta this song! i found myself throwin my shoe

  • HE AINT NEVA LIED ON THIS JAM!!!

  • I remember this on TV. If I'm not mistaken it was some kind of tribute to Richard Pryor and during an interview he said this was one of his favorite songs.

  • Uhnn uhnnn uhn! Timeless....these words are from over 20 yrs ago n STILL RELEVANT YALLL... He ain't talkn bout no cells, strip clubs, etc.... Real r&b! Dammit!!!!!

  • Bobby, Patti, Gladys, Luther, Teddy, Barry, Marvin & Frankie Beverly, we are blessed.

  • Probably was performed at a tribute to Richard Pryor...thus the camera on Rich. Classic moment. True talent. Stop buying hip hop and r&b and the music industry will bring back the true talent and put 50 cent and lil wayne where they belong - in the back of the bus and classroom.

  • Big voice Bobby Womack!! Radio tryed too kill R&B not HIp- Hop they want even let singers like this get a good hook in let along play there music.

  • You say bobby womack...I say BOBBY WOMACK!!!!!!!

  • Nene90047: Get over it! I saw Bobby some thirty years ago LIVE!

  • You could see that Richard P. felt this one! But isn't that what music is supposed to do? Make you FEEL something? Since Pac died.... I haven't FELT anything. But as for R&B goes... It died with Jodeci! Bet dat! The Philly soul folks fought like hell to bring it back but no one was there to grab the baton! Oh well... Bubble gum sex music (trey songz) is what we're stuck with!

  • You know I may be wrong, but I don't think there's an artist today who can produce a slow jam or love ballad like this with the same power, passion, & meaning as bobby womack or any of the greats from the 60's through early to mid 90's. They don't even produce slow jams anymore. Everything is just about a bunch of materialistic bullshit or some weak bubblegum rapping thug, rapping about his dick, bitches,ho's,money, cars, guns, bling, strip clubs ect.. The industry does not promote TRUE R&B anymore.

  • @str8outtatexas1 Naw, you ain''t wrong, it's sad to say, but you ain't wrong. I'm just glad I know about music like this and thank goodness for my parents who exposed me to the good stuff so I don't have to listen to the autotune hiphop crap playing out there today.

  • @str8outtatexas1 AMEN!

  • @str8outtatexas1 Things sho' have changed. Probably why I listen to mostly old school jams...with an exception to very few artists. I weep for real soul music!

  • @str8outtatexas1 So true.... We have to hold on to those old records/cd's because in a few years true r&b will be non existent, scary fact actually!!!

  • Haha @0:45 Richard looked like he was catching the holy ghost.

  • @ImSodamBitterSweet

He was having spazzmatic fits. Onset Parkinsons disease.

  • the best period.

  • What year was this?

  • Sananda Maitreya - AKA Terence Trent Darby is exactly that type of singer but for some reason never got play beyond his first album.

  • Yeah!!!

  • Classic

  • Bayst!

  • 17 ppl dislike this song?????? WHY?????? THIS SONG WAS THE JAM!

  • love it!

    I'm lonely!

  • I'm pretty sure that I'm the only Mexican who know who bobby Womack was in the music biz and I love this tune to death !! Pure gold to my ears

  • I love this song pretty effin cool tune ..

  • gorgeous dimples :)))

  • I've seen Mr. Womack on quite a few occassions, and I know for a fact "they" (I don''t know who the they are) cut his music short. If you know anything about Mr. Womack and his 'groove', you know he will give it to you, no matter how long it takes. But dammit those dimples, oh boy if I wasn't married....

  • Look at the pleasure in Richards eyes, a Legend appreciating another one. Two Master Craftsman, one laughter the other music.... Thank U BOTH!

  • my man!!!! SING IT BOBBY

  • RIP RICHARD PRYOR MAY GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL U MADE SO MANY FOLKS 4GET ABOUT EVERYDAY PAIN & SUFFERING THROUGH YOUR CRAFT we know as comedy. BOBBY WOMACK YOU ARE AND ALWAYS WILL BE AMAZING plus that's my favorite song by the way.. " always complaining about the things her girlfriends got "
  • Womach is the shit. He's got that Barry White thing going on that has a woman ready to drop the linen and start grinnen ( to parashrase a quote from Dr, Phil

  • Richard is so enthralled with Bobby's performance, i had the immense pleasure of seeing Bobby in concert, but unfortunately not Richard Pryor. Two of the world's greatest talents to touch this Earth. Thank you Richard Pryor and Bobby Womack, forever!!!!!!!!!

  • .59 = chills

  • i love this song

  • A living legend...........he is awesome on record and unbelievable live....if you only do one more thing before you die.....go see him and feel the energy. Bobby I salute you for being a master at your craft.

  • this performance was at a richard pryor tribute shortly before he passed away it was his favorite song...miss and love you richard!

  • @michelle73068 You can tell Richard Pryor wanted to shout and scream but he just couldn't.

  • the peak of popular music, the troubadours, the tenors of contemporary tunes are without a doubt soul singers .. though their numbers getting fewer´n fewer ...

  • 11 lonely ass people out there in the world huh??....Shouldn't be so damn mean and onery then!!!!!!! Lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! Bobby wore it OUT!!! I LOVE HIM!!!

  • My favorite artist along with Luther Vandross

  • When under-rated singers are mentioned, somehow Bobby Womack isn't listed, but he is and has been greatly under-rated as a singer.

  • @Terryman1960 I agree. He's a great singer that doesn't get as much credit as he should

  • goosebumps !!! JESUS !! Lord this song brings back memories.

  • Awww Richard Pryor was havin a ball

  • Love this Man's music. Great Soul music about real stuff!!

  • During his time musicians had to wear many hats and those legends did it so well

  • Who even knows Cedric Haley anymore? This man BW is a singer-songwriter, great musician...especially guitar, producer extraordinaire. Yes KC was good in his day, but he was just a singer, he wasn't no Bobby Womack...a legend.

  • @RecordStr8 I agree with you, Amen to that

  • hey, is that richard pryor in th audience ?

  • he smooth and cocky love it....

  • Love love love Bobby Womack. This song give me a tingling every-time he sings it!!!!!!

  • BOBBYYYYYYYYYYYY .......LOVE YOU!!

  • K C did a great cover but this will always be Bobby's song I'm 20 and I know that K C perfomed the song as a young singer while this is an older version Bobby singing his song i this video and to think that K C can sing this song the way Bobby did at his age is crazy.

  • @1kingzeus what does being 20 have anything to do with it ? :p

  • K CI KILLED YOU'RE SONG MR. WOMACK!!!

  • Sorry Bobby Cedric Haley took this song from you!

  • HE STILL GOT HIS VOICE,,,A LEGEND,,,DO IT,,,,WOW

  • Did you see the look on Richard pryor face

  • So sad I couldn't see him in St. Louis last weekend...and to know I was in STL last year that time...it hurts...i'd do nearly anything to hear this man...live! So much soul...so much history. In my opinion, the last real keeper of the soul tradition of yesteryear...Al Green still does his thing, but its something about Bob...mabey it's the Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Sly Stone, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix connection...just mabey?

  • degenerative effect on our culture.

  • I have to agree... I can't even pretend to get into 90% of today's music. Music is powerful. It used to be something we could pull positivity, a sense of unity, and true strength from. It was more complex and provoked a wider range of thoughts. Now that seems to be mostly replaced with music that lacks soul, void of substance, and an empty and often corrupt value system. Look at the behavior and lack of respect many kids seem to have today. In my opinion it's having a very noticeable d

  • This functionally illiterate Generation ,they can't Read ,Count or Write, how the hell they gonna write , produce and perform! you have to know how to spell real words to write lyrics! talking bout 16 beats to a bar,ask then to count to 16!~can't sing, jumping around like monkeys, they call it Dancing! the singers today! all look like Roaches in the face!~handsome my ASS! and there are no more queen of souls , more like queen of HOES~! look like singing squirrels !

    poverty sounding garbage!!

  • Great singing! We are being jipped today with so many singers out there with no soul and can't carry a tune! You have to be on drugs to listen to them and say they sound dam good! what a joke! this video shows real singing from deep within!!

  • 77Gerbils.

    Did you see them?

  • There must be 9 lonely people out there ;-) jk

  • He was the 16th in The Hague, a free concert: Concert of the year!!! oh I'm so glad to have seen him performing live!!

  • Classic soul must be most popural today's music.

Bobby Womack thank you for coming out of your shell, the fight was hard but Bobby Womack made music his home. fayepac Unleashed.

  • I use to say this is my favorite song, but every song Bobby sings is my favorite. I love the way he sounds on records and live. This man can truly sing. So much of his music I play over and over, his songs express what I'm feeling or what I'm going through.I love the Bobby Womack sound.

  • Is that Richard Pryor at .50? wow look at the expression on his face. This song is really moving. He sang with so much power.

  • man, this is the real deal. never get tired of listening to it.

  • He telling the truth!! If you think you Lonely Now!!

  • this is when artist used to sound the same live as they do on the recording.....................a dfiferent time

  • It's that time of year to snuggle up and cuddle up with the one you love, if not than the the one your with.If you think you are lonely now...when it gets cold outside than who will you be with. Aiways remember beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...'BRASS MONKEY' worker for me, Gray Goose or Absolute will do; if your funds than a beam an a couple of 40's will compromise... It is what it is...

  • When its cold out side....who are you holding...i need love.

  • @kitkatcaw then you should start wondering...

  • Love grindin 2 this 1 ...... Gurl wait until tonight Gurl 2 Smooth!!!!!!

  • The real deal is Richard Pryor feel'in it. That's real. My mamma used to play this song repeatedly when I was a kid. Who can feel Bobby Womack?

    Singing Bobby womack.

  • BEAUTIFUL DIMPLES

  • Bobby, there are very few performers that sound this good live; especially today.

Your voice is a blessing to all of us.

Some folks have posted that K-Ci & Jojo is the better version. I will not say which one is my favorite, but lord, can they sound as good as you do live. Both are beautiful. Mercy mercy.

  • @82Pfunk i aint saying which one is better but thats a rare treat when the remake is so good u debate which one is better i will say this kci tore that $%&% up

  • @toofargone68 I agree. If there's debate, then you did SUMPn. KCi did it justice and that's enough. Didn't have to do it better. And he didn't, but KCi rocked it anyhow. NOW, I will say that Jodeci's "Lately" puts Stevie's to shame. They are the ONLY ones who EVER did a Stevie song better than HE did it.

  • This is really my cousin yall... And i absolutely love this song...

  • Yeh Love the song and I could just see the man right now planning to ride off in to the dark..leaving his woman....what he aint know is that he's the one that's gonna be crying in the morning...Wait until tonight we'll see bout that....
