I think its giving gamers to little credit to say that most won't finish it. The second installment is quite a bit easier than the first namely due to the regenerating HB. I surely had an easier time going through this, than the first, which frustrated me so much that in the total time-window it took me more than a year to exceed the learning-curve, as I had to give the game time-outs from time to time. Stick with it, when you master and complete the game its quite a rewarding feeling.

The cheap enemy designs, the shoddy camera, and more hold this game back from dare I say it, a masterpiece, at least in the gameplay department. The story well..no one really expects a story from this game. lol.
For the last boss, just use the bow in his first form. You don't even need to aim as the auto aim will go where he's most vulnerable. First shot will be a headshot. He'll cough up blood, just dodge that. Second shot will auto-aim at the jewel. Lather, rinse, repeat about 10 times and he's done.

Undead Genshin was easier than the first boss of NGB. I defeated Zedonius in one combo. You find like 2 new weapons in each chapter, and you can upgrade em almost instantly. The paths are completely linear and the chapters are short and filled with save points that completely heal you, while those in NGB required searching. And a lot of it.
The game was great, but the challenge was completely away.

Just because they reduced the amount of blood spraying out of each person's neck doesn't mean it's going to suck. It's not like there's going to be no gore at all.
Though reduced gore is a bit of a disappointment, online co-op and new playable characters are great additions to an already fantastic game.
Besides, after owning a game for a week, all that really matters is the gameplay.
Gameplay 10/10 and thats all I want from a hack and slash.
Story is frankly non existant. Camera can occaisionally be annoying.
Challenge level isperfect, apart form the fact there are a couple of enemeis that you only need to button bash against, while others need varied tactics. And the first time thrgh a couple of boss fights can seem impossible, but that's a good thing!
This game is very good , for the people that played the one on the Xbox , but also it's bad for them because if you finished the one on the original xbox you will find this one very very easy in comparison.
I finished Ninja Gaiden Black on normal , hard and nearly finished very hard but then I stopped playing my xbox.
Camera here is worse than the original but this game makes up for all that with the new weapons and moves , it simply looks amazingg and brutal as hell which is awesome :D
I like this one better than the first. The only complaint i have is the invisible walls. The camera isn't too bad, i dont know why people harp on it. I've gotten pretty dang good at using it and dont have any problems anymore. Its fun as hell and it looks great too.

DMC4 had alought of good things going for it, but it repeated itself too much, the combat just isn't as intense as NG2. I liked DMC3 better anyway, there was more to it.

Sigma has new bosses replacing others. Sigma has no blood and fixed framerate issues and slightly easier difficulty changes. Sigma also has coop.

Gameplay 10/10 and thats all I want from a hack and slash.
Story is frankly non existant. Camera can occaisionally be annoying.
Challenge level isperfect, apart form the fact there are a couple of enemeis that you only need to button bash against, while others need varied tactics. And the first time thrgh a couple of boss fights can seem impossible, but that's a good thing!

This game is very good , for the people that played the one on the Xbox , but also it's bad for them because if you finished the one on the original xbox you will find this one very very easy in comparison.
I finished Ninja Gaiden Black on normal , hard and nearly finished very hard but then I stopped playing my xbox.
Camera here is worse than the original but this game makes up for all that with the new weapons and moves , it simply looks amazingg and brutal as hell which is awesome :D

I like this one better than the first. The only complaint i have is the invisible walls. The camera isn't too bad, i dont know why people harp on it. I've gotten pretty dang good at using it and dont have any problems anymore. Its fun as hell and it looks great too.

What? Path of Warrior is vethren setting!? Fuck, I thought it was like Moderate mode I thought you don't unlock hard mode till later, well shit I'm a little impressed with myself being able to handle that, I think Ninja Gaiden Black was harder though.

The ps3 version called Ninja gaiden Sigma 2 will have a better camera, more weapons, enemys and charecters and an online co-op mode!
So it looks like the ps3 version will be much better - but we will have to wait and see!

i doubt that there is any connection ... i bought the game recently and i've never played a ninja gaiden game before , but i still follow what's happening ( besides the story is a joke , seriously the story is like this : "here's some demons slice their mother****en ass" )

I love it...But I hope there will be another sequel that they actually get right...FIX THE FUCKING CAMERA Team Ninja for fuuuck's sake...I actually think the camera in this one is worse than the first...the story could be better, but I don;t have a problem with it anyway...and graphics, yeah, although it looks good it could be a hell of a lot better...oh yeah, and if they ever make another one I hope they don't make it easier...This being said, I'm gonna go chop some heads off ....

How this game could've gotten a 9-10/10:
-Camera angles that don't suck ass.
-Bosses who don't spam grab attacks.
-Bosses who DON'T SELF-DESTRUCT AT THE END OF FUCKING BATTLE!!!!!
-Some more depth in the story.
-Water combat that doesn't test patience.
-A better way to counter long range attacks.
It's not surprising how amazing the combat system is that it can hamper all these burdens to make the game kick ass!
But it had so much potential.....

DMC4 had alought of good things going for it, but it repeated itself too much, the combat just isn't as intense as NG2. I liked DMC3 better anyway, there was more to it.
