Definitely a 67, you can tell by the side vents and the inset turn signal markers in the hood. a 65 only had straight combs on the quarter where this has vents.

302 is the same as a 289 except the stroke . stock 289 ; 4 in.bore, 2.870 stroke ! stock 302; 4 in bore ,3 in stroke .  very nice car ! do you have the original 8 in rear or newer 8.8 ? I had a 72 maverick I put a 3.80 gear in the 8 in chunk type original . It had a 3.00 gear ; ran 16.7 with 3.00 gear ; ran 15 teens . bone stock 302 , 2 barrel , c4 a/t . single exhaust .

It's a 5.0 Cobra crate engine from Ford Racing... so I'm guessing yours should be similar! I recently put in 3.55 gears and that made a big difference in the acceleration.

They are 17x8 Torq Thrust IIs. They're pretty common on older mustangs it seems.

get a 8.8 rearend out a 94 or newer ford explorer. they have anywere from 3.55 to 4.10 ratios and nearly all of them come stock with a limited slip or posi. also, anything newer than a 94 comes with 11and 1/4 inch disc brakes standard. the entire rearend is only 1/2 inch different from rotor to rotor so the tire will only sit in 1/4 inch more on each side. and ya got a bullet proof, aggresively geared rear end.

It has a 5.0 with a C4. The rear end was original, so I think it may be 2.79. I just got a new 3.55 differential that I will put in soon.
