Holy Sh*t! I wish I could play this game. It looks soooo cool. Once I tried to download and burn it in a CD, but it was a complete mess and a huge waste of time
Great stuff, my technique is similar to youres though I like to use a Spirital/Agility type

When he starts throwing big monsters and even bigger airships at me I just throw up Vengeance Orbs and return the damage to sender. No need for defence if you're not getting hit.

Sega should do the right thing and release the trilogy to Xbox 360 or PS3. I'll never be able to find all three of the original games at this point in time....
I'm sure they would if they could. Unfortunately, word is that the source code to this game has been lost, which prevents a port from being made, so your best bet is emulation. I've heard gametap has the first two games, but that seems to be the only alternative at this point...
Aw, crap. Emulation killed my iBook. ._. That is to say, many of them could have been infected, though I never found out why. But anyway, emulation is great and all, but it just doesn't feel authentic. ;-;
Didn't Final Fantasy III (NES) have the same problem? Square's solution was to just remake the game. I don't see why Sega couldn't do the same thing. Unless they still would need the source code or something. I don't know.
Heck of a time to be coming into the story. I'll give you the hyper-condensed version of what's going on here. The player is the Dragon and its rider for this installment, Edge. The enemy is the controlling program of Sestren (the ugly green thing and the blue dragon image circling it). The player is inside the Sestren network that has essentially controlled this entire postapocalyptic world for several millenia. By destroying Sestren, humankind will once again be able to determine its own fate.
So that's what it's like to be inside a massive computer. lol I have to say, though, that it would be kind of cool if Sega made a storyline that revealed who the Ancients were; maybe the Ancients were in fact US. xD Think about it; the game's set thousands of years into the future, right? WE are these Ancients they speak of. We're gods. ^o^
Probably the best Game i ever play in my life, the music is awesome, the gameplay & the screenplay are so original not like the new game, but in france it was misenderstood because of FFVII and playstation marketing, What a shit, this game was better than FF séries, im sure sky of arcadia is made by the same people of this panzer dragoon.
I was going to leave a comment about what a pushover Sestren is, but instead I'm going to mention how dangerously you play! I was sure you were going to heal towards the end at some point, but you never did! Fearless.
Yeah, like I stated in another video comment, arquebuser's gameplay makes the game less "boring" :). I always fight with full hp vengeance orbs/shield.
