He's been hitting for power at the major league level (ISO around .200), but his average is a little low (though he's been bringing it up) and he hasn't drawn a lot of walks and he's been striking out a lot.
pirates should throw one season and do worse than the nationals to get bryce harper and pedro alvarez and maybe the domican guy they are the leading contenders to get... Miguel Sano i think.
Yeah imagine having all these prospects. Bryce Harper, Pedro Alvarez, Tim Alderson, Jose Tabata, Tony Sanchez, Jeff Clement, along with already on the Pirates team Andrew McCutchen and Lastings Milledge. I trully believe in 2011 when all these players are up with the Pirates they will finally be a legit team and be the 2008 version of the Rays in the National League.
bryce harper is so overrated it's unbelievable. He's definitely good, but if you watched him in the Aflac game, I don't see where the hype is coming from.
thats cos in the aflac game there are the best players from in the country.. plus everyone strikes out. and he still showed his cannon throwing down to second base.
i hope he does great.he should be up to aa soon with my altoona curve.and maybe by the end of the year or next year with my pittsburgh pirates .the pirates need a good 3rd baseman with power. andy larouche is not doing anything.when pedro does come to the pirates i hope he stays for a long time and not be like many major leaguers just in it for money
This guy is very good! I hadn't heard much about him. It's because of where he plays but this guy is awesome.
