When my high school first heard we were doing Pippin, we were not at all excited; horrified in fact. We just finished performing it a week or 2 ago, and it was by far one of my favorite plays to ever be a part of. The music is phenomenal, and its a load of fun to act in. I hope I get to be a part of a Pippin cast again in the future. (reppin King Charlemagnes everywhere!)

@Kutazing you and me both! This was my favorite song in the whole show. It was my last in my senior year, and my best friend played Pippin. Watching him walk up the platform and block my view of the lights put me in a sobfest every night.

I hated this show when I saw it in 1973. Hated it more when I was in a production in 1979. And there is a good reason it has not been revived. It ran 5 years and would seem to be a ripe for a new production but it simply stinks and is so dated.
