KC-137 wasn't downed a single time in this exercise. For each brazilian pilot downed, two american pilots (yeah, the agressors) were downed by brazilian pilots.
so we are praying to the russian airplanes !! like su 37 a and pk fa 50 ! but this will just happen with complete transfer of technology to be build here ! fab dont wanna another problem like we have with f5 when we need to by missiles and parts to this plane and nortph didn´t not answered the request from fab ! probably today brasil know f5 better than americans!!
what i know here in brazil is that the ratio was like 2 or 3 enemies planes to 1 brazilian f5! :) and the fx 2 project was substituted by the fx 3 project ! will look for 5th gen airplanes !

Any updates on the Brazilian FX fighter competition? All I know is that the Gripen and the Rafale were shortlisted. I hope the Rafale wins as a lot of the Gripens main components come from the USA and are subject to sanctions.

cara .. eu não to lembrando o nome da musica.. mas se vc procurar aqui mesmo no youtube.. por "chevaliers du ciel soundtrack ou theme" que é um filme sobre caças franceses.. essa música faz parte da trilha sonora.
se num avançarem logo, nossa frota vai virar 14 BIS.

O Rafale eh mto caro e o Wikileaks mostrou q tbm tem dependencia americana.
O F-18 tbm eh caro e nao tem um prego d transferencia tecnologica.
O Gripen eh barato .40% vai ser produzido no Brasil. E eh tao agil quanto o rafale.
Mas nem adinta pq a verba para as Forças Armadas foi cortada ridicularmente.
