There is nothing wrong in supporting the war. it would have been won already had it not for faltering support from those who can't think for themselves and rely on the popular media to think for them. When USA embarks on something, in lieu of terrorism, every American must support until the objective is achieved...not backing out in the middle of the game when the going is getting tough. Troops need morale. That's why entertainers are there, to cheer them on. If you want those troops to come home at least a little sane, then send your best comedians. Try going through a really stressful situation and not have an outlet for it...and then times it by 100. Yeah...I never served but I have an idea of how it would be from my retired father.

It is in our long term interest that IRAQ is stabilized and empowered as a balance against IRAN. One American life lost is one too many but 4,000 is low compared to past wars. What these fighting men are doing today will be looked back on with pride by future generations.
And it is our long term interest that global warming is just a myth and that oil is an infinite resource. At some point you have to accept that something doesn't work and ask for the responsibility of the people who destabilized Iraq in the first place.

Iran unlike Iraq is a homogeneous country. There wouldn't be a civil war. Just a war against the country that brought down the elected government. (Yes they have elections.)
