AEL AFL button on the Olympus E-510

so.. if I'm in the manual (M) mode, there is no need for this button? but, I can use it to lock down the auto focus. correct?

I've only used the ae/f lock to recompose. Hope you can come up with more tutorials for the e-510.

Actually I think its better to have the FN button to do AEL AFL, since its better and more comfortable for shooting and pressing the button at the same time
