  • What is the name of the connection for fans?

  • This is one of the best mid tower cases you can get, I have this case and I´m gonna use it for my next build and the built after it, just plain awesomeness.

  • great video man really helped me alot. I love ur channel as well but i have one criticism.

Dont ever wear that fuckin hat again lol

  • This was actually a really good cable management video, I think it was highly due to having a really good case though. But nice video overall.

  • Wow, thanks for the video Linus. The more clean builds I see with the 600t and cable management the more I want to get that tower for my next build.

  • Why don't motherboards come with those little speakers anymore? I bought 2 motherboards in the last year (different brands) and none came with a little speaker :(

  • @mcskittle3232 I have absolutely no idea. They are very handyand even tell you what's wrong when a POST fails...

But not every mainboard comes without one. I have the ASRock Fatal1ty Professional (Linus unboxed it as well) and that one comes with a speaker :)

  • Is this computer good for minecraft

  • @AppleFanBoy7 ...for minecraft you need a good graphics card and lots of RAM.

  • 24 pin first? I prefer doing it last. Considering how it's the biggest and (more often than not) has the most slack I route all the smaller cables that have less slack and then come in with the 24 pin and do what I can with it.

  • @28:02 simply stupendous! Can barely see the cables, in fact, it looks like a cable-free system ^^

  • if only my cm storm scout case had this great cable management -.-

  • @webgier because some people like to take pride in their work, it keeps the inside cooler and cleaner, it looks nice, and it can be easier to work on later when you dont have 200 wires in your way.

  • I swear i followed u're work to the letter. My last build still looks crap. Spose this is where experience comes in

  • I should have bought a case with grommets...

  • Maybe invest in a turntable?

  • i have Cooler master 912 HAF but i dont have alot cabels, and i dont have little :D

nice vids NCIX like them all

    very hellpfull

  • chucknorisses calculator

  • why every one wants to have a good looking case interior. No one sees it or wants to see it. When its structured, ok. But why does it has to look good

  • @webgier It's not just for the looks, it's to help airflow as well.

  • my case doesn't even have enough place to put cables...

  • 17:15 Eee

  • fuckin rad hat bro haha

  • i love corsair cases

  • You should have braided the front panel cables together! LOL

  • The people who built my computer really need to watch this video. They just shoved all of the excess cables in the hard drive area, making it impossible to install any more hard drives or SSD's. Once I get a job (stupid economy) I'm definately buying a modular power supply and cleaning up the case.

  • How about installing Windows 7 And other

  • wait what plugging your fans into the motherboard allows you to control each fan...well with the new motherboards i mean

  • 27:11 sounds like a fart sorry lol

  • lol it says "Corsiar" in the tags

  • is The NZXT HALE 90 850W Good? Please Help!

  • @fshlps Well.. I would not recommend a PSU from that brand. I would HIGHLY recommend a Cooler Master, OCZ, Corsair...

  • @MrTabarnaco2 thanks!

  • 31:19 hahahaha!!!!

  • I finished cable management on my pc and did psu pinmod to test it and it worked. Thanks for extra help. Awaiting CPU and HDD

  • AMD vision black today ? 2012 ? hmm Crosshair V fomula, 1100T ( waiting for new revised version of the FX CPU), AX850, Strontium RAM 4x4 or 4x2 kit, R7970x2 xfirex, CM Cosmo II case

  • cable tie here... cable tie there... hey Linus, why dun u send a box to us ? :P

  • @skyw4lka. -.- my bad

  • @skyw4lka.

  • Fuckin awesome.......

  • Damn that's beautiful.

  • How much does that PC cost :D

  • Comment removed

  • Only thing I hate about my OCZ 700w power supply is the crazy short cables.. Couldn't put the 8 pin mobo connector behind the motherboard tray.

  • Ultimate AMD system?

Guessing its about equal to an I5 then.

  • @canthaguild

Yeah, equal to I5, but half the price

  • that's one beautiful case man... i love the rig.. the bad side is that this corsair case is not avialable in argentina (i think...) still.. i regret for buying my sentey case XD

i think i'll save some bucks to buy a modular psu......

  • nicely done and beautiful setup, I'm green with envy

  • I have built 25 systems so far, I always just put the side panel on. It always starts first time :D guess I am lucky XD

  • It's time to rearange my spaghetti in the right way ^ ^

  • There is a freaking giant lizard on his head

  • Wow.... nice clean build.

  • I just bought full tower Haf X and after I install all the things inside it then I just realize that i got another 3x 3pins fans that hanging and surely the fans are not spinning haha

so, is there any chance to make the fans working without buying a new psu?

  • if you have full atx case...cable management is very hard...i extensions on most of my cables...

  • Is there any writing guide how to connect cables to their correct components, i'm confussed

  • modular psu's are awesome! BUT i could only afford a non-modular tx750w-v2 because it is way cheaper than the ax750w. :p

  • @anzenxxii That's because corsair is overpriced for power supplies. There are cheaper brands that have the same performance, are modular, and have the same build quality. For the extra money you save you could get a higher watt power supply (not that you really need more than 750w)

  • I built a PC with 600T and I'm 11, its that easy!

  • @LoudestOfLoud Just because you're eleven doesn't indicate you're amount of intelligence (that is a Compliment BTW)

  • @TheGenesisfreak You used 'you're' wrong in that statement. This is what you wrote - doesn't indicate you are amount of intelligence; should have used 'your'.

  • @F3TES Yes, because I made A single Typo My Intelligence is Decreased.

  • hmm my 8 pin power suplly cable is to short to get to the connector on the motherboard... what should i do??

  • @bozodribel buy extend cable, those are couple bucks on pc store

  • @bozodribel i had the same problem well you can do two things the first being order an extender and the second being to thread it up through your motherboard behind the pci cards you have installed. near the pci cards metal plate there will be gap between the motherboard and the pci card to thread the cable up through

  • I used a non modular and it really isn't that bad in my 500r I just put all the non needed molex's in the back the only problem I really have is squeezing the backplate on

  • This would be Better if chuck Norris did it

  • @chasefooo fag

  • @chasefooo WHY ? Thats the most stupid comment i have ever seen.

  • This wou

  • you should really build the system outside of the case first before installing the motherboard into the case. This helps you bench test the system. It would suck if you built it like you did then realise the mobo was dead. Just make sure you put the mobo on the mobo box and not anti static bad otherwise you will knacker it.

  • @greenbrucelee haha yes it looks like he did just that in his ultemate buyer guid, meybe you tought him that.

  • If anyone is wondering 5" cable ties are the best size!

  • I can't even fucking close the side panel (The part where you're suppose to hide the wires) because my cables are fucking everywhere.

  • question, i have this case when im trying to connect the fans to the fan controller basically, the cords wont connect to each other anything u think im doing wrong or?

  • @Sl0th150 On the Connectors u have to take the head off the 4 cords. I Had trouble with that until i figured it out

  • @MrSalmon92 - if you have extra money of course

  • i bought the 600TM because of this video.

  • Thank you Linus! :D

  • it took me an hour to find a good cable management review.

    great job

  • My case has no gromets and my PSU is nonmodular. My case looks like a bowl of ramen.

  • @Abrown516 that really sucks, same with mine, it's a pain and is ugly. and nice example haha.

  • @Abrown516 gotta love the world of budget gaming. well i shouldn't say budget i just spent 1400 on mine, i wen a little overboard.

  • @zacharynash i just when for a £3000 build.. i dont think im going to spend money again for a few years :P

  • @Abrown516 I feel your pain, Mine looks like a bunch of black snakes getting freaky

  • @DeathsUncleBob really? i have a non modular and no grommets and my pc is super as far as cable management

  • @Abrown516 I went to my local hobby store, asked one dude if I can borrow the dremmel, cutted the holes out, but some rubber on sides and done, I also made a CPU cut-out with it, looks like it was made in company

  • 28:56 I thought he was about to say "and the other hand on the fire extinguisher"

  • could i use a vacuum to get the dust out of my case?

  • @IxTeejxI You could, but its not recommended, static electricity could build up on the end of the hoover/vacuum it could discharge on to one of your components, and thats not good. you can pick up compressed air cans for like $3-5 and they'll last a while. its a far safer way. Linus does have a video if your interested

  • You should use a spin table :P.

  • First time build in In Win Dragon Rider, I closed the side panel before turning on my power and guess what? It worked flawlessly. Of course I'm OCD about everything so, there wasn't a single thing not plugged in. But good information. I'll use it with my NEXT build :)

  • another 30 mins wow :D

  • wow this tutorial has really put an eye openere on what to look out for in cases, almost 80% of the cases ive seen dont have these cable management rubber gromits, the 600t is soo good but too expensive for me

  • this made me want to build another system >.<

  • Sooo much room in that case for cable management. Is it like an inch deep?

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins Congrats dude, whats your pc spec :)

  • Same as MrShnuggleMuffins

  • How mch was this pc?

  • thank you so much. great vid will be building my first computer in a couple of weeks

  • Building a computer is easy but to configure the bios and other stuffs for a beginner is hard.

One wrong click and your CPU will boom especially those n00bs always think high voltage the better

  • 'Anything by tidy at the back' You'd weep if you saw the back of mine :D

  • We all know Linus loves his grommets...

  • nice

  • building my computer next week, hopefully it turns out well!

  • Thx Linus. This is GOLD!

  • Intel ftw

  • @Plaincow Bitfenix colossus

  • awesome video! can anyone recommend a case like this with the great cable management back that isnt so pricy?

  • @Plaincow save up man im getting it at xmas its obvs an azmaing fan

  • budget PC cable management pls?

  • Amd? Nah, intel FTW

  • You're funny bro =D

  • in the power led, reset pin and etc.. you can just put them randomly? or is there an appropriate pattern to put them??

  • @zekeski There is an appropriate pattern, refer to your motherboard instructions.

  • AMD Phenom X6 1100T

    Asus M4A89TD PRO

    Sapphire HD6970

    Black Dragon 4x 2GB 1333Mhz CAS 7-7-7-24

    OCZ Vertex 3 60Gb

    3x WD1001FALS (RAID)

    Antec NineHundred 2

  • thumbs up if you are watching this

  • @WHDGON Im not because i was looking at your comment.

  • 1nerdComputer@ try usibg conpressed air to clean all your fans, and grphics card

  • I'm hoping to do cable management on my HAF-X I'm terrible at it -.-

  • you really made NCIX popular in all over the world.

  • hmmmmmmmmm im waiting for the price to go down

  • My ultimate AMD Build would have two 6950's / 6970s in crossfire and a potential bulldozer setup.

  • Would a 850w power supply handle a quad core intel i7 and 2 gtx 480s

  • @ukIImyles Yes.

  • u know ur a nerd when ur watching a cable management video

  • @jeystonemusic for HALF AN HOUR

  • @jeystonemusic my computer is getting so hot when im playing minecraft please help!!!!!!!!!1

  • @1NerdComputer get the corsair h80 or h100 cooling system, easiest water cooling to install..I dropped 10 degrees with the h100....good cable management helps circulate air better ;)

  • @jeystonemusic lmao rotff

  • @jeystonemusic A lot of people are nerds, your not suppose to let anyone IRL know that you actually are into this kind of shit.. duh.... If you tell people you watch this shit, you get no pussy! (Unless your really, really rich. I mean have you seen Bill Gate's bitch? Shes fine as fuck)

  • @jeystonemusic Good luck

  • @jeystonemusic Well, if you are for fun, hehe.

  • I got a CM Silent Pro PSU and all the fricking SATA power cables are the same length 8-(

  • Im 13 and buildkng my first computer :D wish me luck

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins same here but im making a hackintosh good luck too u :)

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins I hope you do well, I'm 15, I can tell you it is not as easy as it looks ;)

  • @bountyhunter552 ..It actually is.

  • @ISUBANY11 It's easy building a computer on you own when your are 13/15 for the VERY first time? I had some troubles here and there.

  • @bountyhunter552 I'm 15 myself and I built my 2500k system a few days back - Quite simple. The only part that I was scared of was when I was placing the CPU into the CPU socket. You have to match it up perfectly. Other than that, EVERYTHING else was a straight forward. Took me an hour and a half too. =]

  • @ISUBANY11 I also had trouble with the cpu socket, I was afraid so putting to much pressure on it and end up breaking the thing. The worst part for me was the CPU cooler, I used a very heavy and clunky cooler, which was very tricky to mount. Finally I had trouble with the front panel connections, which had me confused for about 10 minutes. Other than that everything went fine and was easy enough. It is very rewarding to build a pc at the age of 15 or 13 and it does only take a single afternoon:)

  • @bountyhunter552 Well, mine won't boot :'(

  • @frozenskipper Check all your connections, on the psu and the 24 pin connector on the motherboard.

    Then come to me.

  • @bountyhunter552 Tomorrow i'll give it another shot, it's getting late, and i'm getting tired.

  • @frozenskipper Alright just let me know if you need any help.

  • @bountyhunter552 NM, figured it :D

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins i was 13 when i built my first comp, that was 3 months ago. its pretty easy :D

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins I commend you. Good luck sir

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins don't forget to make your pr0n files hidden xD

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins How did it go? :)

  • @Skajter1901 haha would you believe... it hasnt happened yet... ive bought all parts apart from cpu so im saving about £100 then i buy it :D

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins sweet, good luck than

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins Good Luck!

It's good to get into it young.

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins I'm sure this kid is an online predator.

  • @tiotito31 :) No not really :D

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins Exactly what an online predator would say... :O

  • @tiotito31 :) well if you could come to your local park and look for my van... i sell sweets :D

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins follow this video and the other video and you will be fine. i build mine myself to but then i was 14

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins Just to say... the pc went great! I nearly crapped myself when it didnt turn on... forgot to plug it in :)

  • @MrShnuggleMuffins SAME

    XD

  • Intel 990x quad sli gtx 580

  • Hmm... assuming a bag of money falls outta the sky...

Custom built case with liquid cooling to hold the motherboard =P

eVGA Classified SR-2 motherboard (big ass motherboard...)

Two Xeon X5677 cpu's (Hexa cores would be nice, but won't fit on motherboard =P)

Silverstone Strider ST1500 Power Supply (I'm guessing all this crap would use a bunch of power...)

ATI FirePro V9800 Graphics Card (Epic)

    48 Gb Ram (lol)

A bunch of other bells and whistles that I'd have absolutely no use for...
