  • I don't know what the complaints are but I absolutely loved being in Albuquerque!

  • it isnt all how they make it look

  • Could anyone help me out with what this song is? Thanks, it's really lovely.

  • @xtindawl great question! Detour Music wrote and produced the song specifically for our promotional materials.

And here are the musicians (all local) in order of appearance:

    Andrew Thomas

    Le Chat Lunatique

    New Mexican Marimba Band

    Chamisa Chamber Players

    Chuy Martinez & Oti Ruiz

    Los Primos

    Unit 7 Drain

  • Where is the mall that the woman in sunglasses is shopping?

  • @JohnRhysMusician That would be at the ABQ Uptown outdoor shopping mall. It's pretty new and very trendy with lots of great stores!

  • @ABQCVB Thank you for sharing. I'll have to go there next time I am in Albuquerque. It looks like they have some nice shops there. Lots of shops in Uptown.

  • @JohnRhysMusician This is at ABQ Uptown an outdoor upscale shopping area.

  • honestly i miss abq i miss the skes and the impromptu trips to Sandia Peak walks down the river and the people I met there.. but it is suuuuper boring most of the time... i mean all these things are great but what do you do after the first 3 days? As a younger person living there i discovered there were limited options on what to do after a while basically there were bars and clubs.... oh and like 8 adult bookstores down central haha

  • Ive lived here for over 13 yrs. Never seen any of those ppl

  • wheres all these people playing music around town, I've never seen them and I've lived here for 9 years

  • BORING!

it may be fun if you are 75 years old

  • @locoranchers Sorry you didn't enjoy. I'm 24 and I find lots to do here. To each is own I guess :)

    -Liz

  • @locoranchers

Yeah agree with the last person who replied, If you couldn't find something to do in Albuquerque that says more about your then the town. ABQ has plenty of great things, but usually people who say things like that are too lazy to experience them.

  • @skinnywhop87 -so tell me what you do for fun

  • @locoranchers

Hiking, snowboarding during the winter, waterfall jumping during the summer, riding dirt bikes and quads, camping, boating, partying with friends, going to the bars, going to movies, going to local amusement parks, drives in the mountains, gold hunting, turquoise hunting, artifact hunting, fossil hunting, ect

There's plenty to do here, just can't be closed off to possibilities

  • @skinnywhop87 there aint even no water in ABQ to go boating, there are no waterfalls, there is one very small amusment park, hunting for gold, are you retarded, who in the hell goes hunting for turquoise and gold.

bars, dirt biking, camping, partying, movies, can be done in any town or city in this country.

  • @locoranchers

Never heard of the Rio grande? And yes there's the Jemez which is an hour away from ABQ,

People who like making money go hunting for gold and turquoise, and yes i find some everytime.

And yes they can be done every town, so explain why abq sux?

Because you're too lame to do anything but complain? I can tell your type already, the only pessimists who say such ignorant things, are the fatasses too lazy to get off their ass and do exciting things

  • @locoranchers

only a retard would say finding gems and precious metals are retarded. I can't believe you would even say such an ignorant thing.

Sorry you can't imagine doing such things in your narrow little world, you only make yourself look retarded to say such a stupid thing.

"You know where to find gold, so you go find it... Wow what a retard"

  • @skinnywhop87 -you are a fuckin idiot, what are you six? You go hunting for arrowheads and turquoise, you must have no life, and no girlfriend. People dont even go to the Rio Grande, I never see anyone out there in that dirty water.

Albuquerque sucks cause it isnt much of a city, its a small town in a city with a small town mentality and corrupt ways.

  • @locoranchers

lol getting hurt are we??? Lol it's ok, you're the fatass who probably has no girlfriend. I don't need to get in a metaphoric penis comparing contest, because he who knows does not speak, and who speaks does not know

Albuquerque is no different then any other city, you just have a hair across your ass because even the hookers on central won't give your fatass any attention

Lazy lowlife, only someone with no brain or physical power could hate ABQ.

  • @skinnywhop87 ABQ is different from every other city, thats what makes it unique dumbass, otherwise ABQ would look just like Houston,Atlanta,Milwaukee or Boston, and you got the lowlife part down, ABQ is full of lowlifes, pregnant teens, gangsters, douchebags, hookers, and those annoying east coasters and CA people, all those fools can eat a dick

  • @locoranchers

now go cry as good bitches do, You don't need to be 6 to find adventure here, New mexico and ABQ dumps on every city in the US, that's why we're one of the only places not suffering during this recession.

Thanx to that good ole, mining and movie industry. But please do enjoy whatever po'dunk little shithole you live in. ABQ is the shit, only ppl who talk about it are fatassses who can't leave the couch. Outdoor adventure is just too much for your simple self.

    lol good day!

  • @skinnywhop87 ABQ dosent suffer from the recession cause there is no industry in ABQ, its not too hard to make it through a recession when you are one of the poorest states in the first place. I never said I hate ABQ, and from the sound of it, you sound like a wannabe ABQ'ean who transplanted his trendy ass here, you are a fake.

And Im far from fat, lay off of the dicks you silly faggot, its fuckin with your mind, how about I hide some easter eggs and you can come fine em

  • @locoranchers

Albuquerque and new mexico have plenty of industry you fool

We have the 4th largest oil reserves, the 2nd largest gas reserves, the 5th largest mineral reserves, not to mention both sandia and los alamos national labs, all the military bases, the movie industry, the casinos, the art industry, our native american jewelry and crafts economy, the farming industry.

If you knew anything about statistics and gallop polling you'd know there's many variables to explain the

    cont*

  • @locoranchers

    the "poverty level" in NM.

    1. The cost of living is much less here, there's much less land and property taxes here. Therefore the minimum wage level is lower then the majority of the country.

    2. There's thousands of Native American and Spanish land grant families who do not work and only collect grant money from the federal government.

    3. Our population is far less then most states, so if you add in the first two variable it brings down the vast majority

  • @locoranchers

FYI asshole, I was born, raised and will most likely die in ABQ, and since you keep on insisting i have no gf or I'm gay, why not pm my channel and i'll give you my yahoo messenger account where I can get on cam and show my FIANCE to you.

You bigoted moronic self-hated projecting lowlife piece of shit. Get off your fatass and jog some of ABQ's beautiful bike trails, or at least try out one of our fine community colleges so your ignorant ass can become educated

  • @skinnywhop87 -why would I want to become educated, I went to school in New Mexico, you know, one of the worst states for education, actually one of the worst states for everything, but I do love it despite all of its flaws.

  • @skinnywhop87 Amen to that.

  • @locoranchers Boring for a city dweller who have have no sense of adventure and cultural experiences, I guess. This place is the best place in all the US.

  • @nmxterra - what are you talking about, Im from a small town of 11,000 people in New Mexico so I grew up around the cultural experiences, I am part of the cultural experiences, so Im no city dweller and NM is corrupt, backwards and BORING!

except it is fun to go out in the country and shoot guns at things.

  • The women in Albuquerque are the smarter, educated, more sophisticated cousins of smaller towns in New Mexico.

  • I love it here.

  • BORING

  • Nice video, but the town needs to invest in street-cleaning devices.

  • It's not a town, it's a city.

  • Feeling a little homesick! There is no substitute for green chile up here in Portland, Oregon! mmmm...wish I had some now!

  • I miss the Burqy!
