  • AVI EDELMAN IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE. ROSH MOSH 2011!!

  • hahaha the republican is the gay one lol

  • Aren't college football teams discriminitory then??? the dont let handicap ppl play they wont let a 40 year old student play, or women play on the team maybe they should be fighting that???

  • Go!! Learned Foote!!!!

  • Since most people in New York City are opposed to the immoral and endless U.S. military intervention in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan in 2011, Columbia University's administration should not start training U.S. military officers on its campus for the Pentagon's Iraq-Afghanistan-Pakistan War in 2011 and, by doing so, institutionally contribute to this endless and wasteful war.

  • @protestfolk How ignorant can one be?! The military will continue to exist for the protection of our country long after these wars are over. The training of future officers should be seen as an opportunity to change how the military operates. Obama and other democrats scream "Change change change" but all you do is ignore and hide from problems that we could indeed change. This is why your savior Obama is a one pump chump. Have fun with that in 2012.

  • @Stylensky The military in countries like Sweden are able to protect that country from foreign attack without the Swedish government waging endless "preventive wars" in countries like Iraq-Afghanistan-Pakistan, like the U.S. government does. Although a large percentage of U.S. military officers involved in disastrous U.S. war in Iraq-Afghanistan-Pakistan were trained at civilian U.S. universities, there's little evidence these ROTC graduates have been able to change how the military operates.

  • Now that Don't Ask, Don't Tell is gone, the College Dems have no more valid arguments against NROTC, so take that!! One liberal agenda supplants another.

  • dont ask, dont tell forever!!

  • every major school practically has NROTC, yet one of the top Ivy league schools won't have it? WTH

  • @SKULLRED2010 They're hypocrites. They won't support the troops, but they'll gladly welcome radical Muslims to campus. Yale invited a Taliban spokesman. Harvard rolled out the welcome mat for Khatami.

  • YEAAAH Avi! You tell 'em!

    Love, Rebecca.

  • @sababa9989 So where were hypocrites like Avi when Ahmadinejad was given a standing ovation on campus? How ironic that liberals claim to support gay rights yet had no problem with a Muslim tyrant who kills gays.

  • how ungrateful! shame on Columbia!

  • As a Democrat and through personal experience, I think that ROTC programs are great way to keep our military top quality.

  • Ha! Go Avi. Hey other kid, they are getting rid of Don't Ask Don't Tell.

  • @gabek333 So where were hypocrites like Avi when Ahmadinejad was given a standing ovation on campus? How ironic that liberals claim to support gay rights yet had no problem with a Muslim tyrant who kills gays. Liberals are hypocrites who hate the troops while making excuses for Sharia Law.

  • It's a shame you want to keep great kids from being able to join NROTC. What in the frickin world makes you think that you are getting anything done for your campus by banning the program? Keeping certain students from feeling hurt about because they aren't allowed to join? Give me a break!

  • man, why cant all people have respectful debates such as this on TV? they both were willing to concede points, neither yelled and they did not distort the others position to try and score points. congrats to those two. we could well with more like them as pundits and politicians.
