@dre777rap Yes, the wet method should work out the best. I’m not sure what would be good but be careful not to scratch the sticker as you squeegee the water out.

Should work fine. The soap (wet method) just keep the glue from sticking at first touch. Anything... tap, sticker, vinyl or even a stamp will move freely with the wet method then given the time to dry will then stick fine.
I've done many large windows and signs. The ONLY... I repeat... ONLY... way to apply a large or complex vinyl sticker is using the WET METHOD. Don't worry about how long it takes to dry. Large vinyl stickers are very expensive. You want the ability to maneuver the sticker around and work out all the bubbles. The ONLY way to do that is with the wet method.
You're crazy. You obviously don't work for a sign company. Applying wet decals is time consuming. If you're talking about applying large decals, normally they are printed onto a 3m backing and breaths very easy. Usually it's bus wrap material. It's meant to be layed down dry and not wet unless you have a unusual circumstance.
@heydanno777 I agree with that, but I just find it hilarious and almost frustrating how some folks like to use the wet method on even the TINIEST stickers, it makes no sense to me to have to wait for something to dry when it is only 10" square MAX I think you can have a good understanding of how straight a graphic is by measuring the distances between sides and using masking tape and a level
hey thanks for this video! exactly what i needed..
i have this really big sticker (about 20" diameter) that i want to apply on a mirror so i think i might actually go for the "wet" technique. might be the easiest.
THANKS FOR THE TIPS

I am applying a 2ft x 8ft vinyl sticker with only backing on the glue side. Is the wet method the best way?
