@venisehughes thanks, I try. Im from the USA. The tingling means, you will feel this prickly sensation on your scalp, almost like when you rinse your mouth with mouthwash, and you blow your breath out when you feel how tingly your mouth feels inside. Its that same sensation.
Pro's on the mixture: the mixture makes my scalp tingle slightly, and since I apply it to my scalp every other day, by the time I go to apply it again, it has evaporated so there's no product buildup. I made a lot so it'll last awhile.
Cons: the smell of the herbs became overpowering to me so I added some more warmed coconut oil and vitamin e to the mixture to mask the smell. It worked because now it smells like herbs and coconuts.
After I added a little more coconut oil and the vitamin e oil, the scent is now bearable and doesn't bother me anymore. And yes, the scent goes away after a few hours. I normally oil my scalp and go to sleep so by the time I wake up in the morning, the smell is gone. Sometimes I rub my scalp to see if I can still smell it, lol.
Don't feel bad if you don't have an applicator bottle . I sometimes use shopping bags to go under the dryer for deep conditioning. You don't have to be fancy
Thanks Nina, I need to use some of my grocery bags too because I have plenty and even when I use my shower caps, I still run out of them so fast its annoying. Im going to use the bags next time. Thanks for the reminder.
Great mix of ingredients girl! I've never thought to heat it up but thats a great tip. Im going to have to try something similar. I love being my own chemist!
I had to mix something, lol. Im going to experiment a little more in the kitchen as well. There's nothing like using what you already have. I've been heating my coconut oil a lot lately, and doing a hot oil treatment with it on wash days as my prepoo.
where do you get the tea from?

@sheka03 sorry, it was my mother's. I saw it in the pantry, researched the benefits, and decided to use it.

I guess the tingles means that it's working and it cleans/ nourish the scalp. The smell is that bad ? Does it go away after a few hours ?
