A coalescence of support for the Islamic fundamentalist movements and a full scale military engagement by the US in Afghanistan in order to start a great war that would result in a great Islamic caliphate. @mawnyz1 when his followers were few, the prophet advised getting along with, and converting through love, the people of the book, that he felt believed in one god but had been misled. As his #'s increased, he advised increased assertiveness in conversions and societal influence and control. When he had enough followers, he sought military conquest and the destruction of those that had subjugated him.

@mawnyz1 He prohibited the killing of believers and offered the conquered an opportunity to convert or submit and be spared the sword. He imposed revelations and actions that firmly placed Muslims above infidels in society. His later teachings and acts clearly Abrogate, or replace with something newer, what had come before. When the # of Muslims was small and weak they got along, whenthey were many, they sought power, and when they were strong, they imposed their will with violence.
