When I was too young to know how to operate the record player by myself, I used to get this out, take it to my dad, and I'd ask him to "play the wire music" for me. I think this was probably my first favorite album.

I walked into one of the larger demo rooms at the Hi Fi show at Earls Court, London in 1972 aged 14 as this, the first track was starting and stayed until the record had finished. What an amazing introduction to an album who's cover had intrigued but not drawn me when in the local record shop. Big systems were for the specialists in those days and I left that demo room shaking! Awesome. Commendable job on your transfer; not a sound that shouldn't be. CBS really should put this on CD.
