that is not Dalek Daan though. the dude used the Emperor Dalek model instead of the Dalek Caan model.
and Dalek Caan didn't go back to save Devros, he got thrown back to the time war when he used his emergency temporal shift, and flew into the heart of the Medusa cascade, saving Devros completely unintentional.
