@kroitt95 Go regulus dojo to find a monk and choose ur fighting style as manual mode. Press select to switch to manual mode during battle. Press up to jump. :)

Also, would Omega Seal (not Quasi) work for chain skill interrupt? (most valky strike+ray+lightning)

I've seen it interrupt Valkyrie Protector on a video once, so it probably does.

Well, that's a spam of attack, then spiral attack, then mega sonic strike! But nice, and cool, using tempest as an escape for attacks and magic. :)

This isn't a VP cameo, it's from a Namco game called Valkyrie no Densetsu (Legend of the Valkyrie). The same cameo shows up in a bunch of other Tales games as well.

Different developer. Different Publisher. Wolf Team, I believe, was the developer. Most of the Wolf Team crew left after disputes with Namco to form Tri-ace, hence similarities between their early games, also explaining a reluctance to use materials between the two developers.

How can you jump and do Tempest Strike? I'm never able to do that, so my Tempest is not as high and I get hit...

To use it on air, it has to be used more than 100 times.

Is that even hard mode? Valkrie uses fireball,

wind blade, grave as extensions on her attacks but ray after Valkyrie protector seems real.

And where is her guard impact?

Valkyrie was reaaaaally hard for me even on Normal Mode. I didn't think of using Tempest Strike to escape her blows, though.

Tales of Eternia (its actual name, just to avoid confusion) is a great game, yeah. It's also available in English on the Playstation and in Europe on the PSP.
