@makahuro I painted it because it was a piece of shit that I salvaged from a pawn shop, where it was hanging as wall decor....I'm a professional musician, I use my professional Edwards trombone for most things I play. This trombone is for ska and more contemporary applications.

@makahuro I believe so, T-350 with a rose brass bell. I bought it used when I was in high school getting ready for college. I use either a stork custom 5 mouthpiece or a Dennis Wick 4 AL depending on what I'm playing. Maybe I will make a video of acoustic trombonage lol :-D

@ashto2424 It's not plastic but it is old, 1952 Holton Collegiate. I found it in a pawn shop in really terrible shape so I took it in to the repair shop and fixed almost all of the cosmetic issues. Then I painted it with spray paint. I love that trombone, and it has such an old jazz sound to it acoustically.

@ratbutcher The best thing to do in that case is make your tone the best you can without effects and stuff. When you add the effects it really junks up the tone quite a bit.

It really doesn't help your development to think about playing in that way. If you have a problem with pitch you won't overcome the problem by simply sliding up or down to get in tune. I spent many years playing by ear and sheer luck rather than spending time going through exercises and playing all my major scales and the chromatic scale . I dunno if your a trombone player but hey.... that's my two cents
