how are you runnin the 1.5d on 12s lipo when the max rpms is 60000? thats 1900 x 50= 95000 rpms!!! how is the motor taking that? if that rotor comes apart in will cut your truck in half!
Yes its running 95K....takes it like a champ. Steve built me a heck of a motor. Every motor we have run we have run it WAY past the limits......none have even got hot or thought about failing. Try that with a Lehner or Plettenburg.....won't happen. Neu's are the real deal.
i think you are running those batteries in parrelel......look at a vid or somewhere about how to make a series connector and then try it. you should go much faster.
really? they look like they are in parellel. a series connector is kind of triangle shaped "depending on wire lengths." when you have 2 positives and 2 negatives from 2 plugs going into a single plug, it's parellel. one way to find out for sure is to use a voltometer on the plug and if it's parellel, it will say about 25v on a full charge and if it's a series connector, it will say about 50v. try it
Its ~50 volts when both batts are peaked. It may look like it on the video but its not. Its a true series connector. Plus no way the truck would go that fast on only 6S...hehe

Don't think these motors can take that!

Easily will take it.......I have given Steve lots of feedback. He knows what is being run through this motor. So far its been unreal.

dont these motors have a 60,000 RPM limit?
surely your motors broken by now? lol
jjl5590 3 years ago
Yes, that is the limit, but I have pushed it to see how far it will go. Shows the level of craftsmanship that goes into a NEU motor.
jz97ss 3 years ago
exactly which 1521 motor is it? i looked on castlecreations and there was like 10... lol

Awesome JZ. Hope to see a nice little wing in front of the truck to keep the front end down.
