@testacojones I would get the ceramic brakes, they are better and not just for show! At the very least they run cooler! If you can afford a car that $150,000.00 plus loaded including tax not to mention the federal income tax you pay on the money it takes to pay cash for the vehicle i think you can shell out for the ceramic brake option!
Anyone have an opinion of the upgraded factory stereo in the 2011 911? Anyone tried putting a clean sweep or similar device on it for after market amps and speakers and if so what were your results?
The seats aren't as nice to me in the turbo and I personally like interior of the GT3 better, the electric seats with alcantara and contrast stitching just seam much nicer to me so does the alcantara dash options and no back seats! some of the body work on the turbo is nice but frankly the only options from the turbo I would want thats different from the GT3 is the turbo it's self and the PDK So basically a GT3 with it's current available options plus the turbo and PDK would be the perfect 911!
@IvyLeagueCars unless you're tracking the car on a weekend basis, the turbo is faster (in a straight line), easier to drive (the clutch on the GT3 is brutal), more comfortable (the turbo wont jump going over a bump)... the downside is the turbo is much softer than the GT3. the GT3 is the definition of entertaining though...
@IvyLeagueCars if you're taking short trips which involve back roads and canyons, yes. sitting in traffic and long trips, i'd take the turbo (and the turbo is no slouch in handling either, just quiet)
Their made to perform hard right out of the box. There is no break in period. In fact, the engine will perform better over its life if you drive it hard off the bat.
Looks similar to my new black 2010, but I got the PCCB's (yellow calipers) Incredible car, I am still in the break-in period (only 533 miles), watch for my track videos once I get the break-in miles out of the way!
why does the body look wide to me?

Navigation screen in a GT3 = Fail. Respect to those you order one without.

It is a break in period for the driver, not the Mezger race proven engine.

This or the Turbo, I can't decide both so attractive.
I like the Turbo's looks better, but the GT3 drives more entertaining.

@maverick223 Good point. But I think the GT3 would be more fun on the road.

The racing car uses regular brakes so why pay extra for pccb, I wont even bother with that option.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
You're only getting 4 stars because it doesn't have PCCB (Ceramics), busted! Black GT3 is looking hot though!

@omahagt
That's bullshit. In my owners manual its says not to rev beyond 4700 during first 1000 miles
liftedview 1 year ago
@omahagt You go do that to your own GT3, we'll do a break-in period, Mr. Bullshit.
