There were different races present, obviously students at the college, who were peacefully waiting to hear him...so race wasn't the issue at all.

This is insane. Their right to be there with signs and everything else just isn't enough. Simply can't let people have the freedom to listen to an invited guest because they don't agree with the stance. These crazy "college students" again, need to get out a simple dictionary and look up the word "racist". I find the whole display disgusting and believe they should be expelled from school. Obviously there were students who wanted to hear what he had to say. Where's their rights?

Honestly, I think the student accusing him of racism are the racists. They only see the fact that the people over the border he's for securing are of another race. Were they white, these kids probably wouldn't care.

Exactly. It's the idea of letting illegal aliens get in state tuition when a citizen of this country doesn't get it. We have students denied entrance because more foreigners want to go to a college and they will take them over an in state student because they get more money. And if they follow like they did in my state, in-state tuition wasn't enough, they wanted it for free. Then they wanted Spanish speaking instructors for "their people".

This is precisely why I oppose public schools; it can create an "us vs. them" mentality...and that ends up being heightened if liberals give preference to those that don't even pay into the system. I'm paying NC taxes for these schools, so I might at well use them at the discounted rate, but I'd rather they be private and seriously reduce tax rates all across the board.

Also, notice how the girls went to cover him up the second he bring up a good point.

@HerrSchenkel Pay into the system? You've got the same welfare state of middle-to-upper income families with conservatives and you do liberals; the point of it is folks, you're not helping the us vs. them mentality if you continue to label people or dehumanize them because of their politics.

It's a free-market of ideas, get used to it; as for the people causing crap in this video? Campus police should have arrested them, and I would have liked Mr. Tancredo to stand his ground.
