my dad has never been home for more than a year . ive been a military kid since birth and it really is hard. But you left out a whole lot. You didnt put that we have to move all the time. leaving behind pieces of our lives and our friends. thank you for making this tho (:
@LiloAndStitch100 trust me i know how you feel, i was born stright into the Marine Corps with my daddy always off into deployment and kids taunted me saying my daddy was going to die. I hope and pray that your dad will be able to retire after his years needed, wish you luck hun but just remember they're never that far away as long as you keep em in your heart
my son is about to be a military kid i leave for basic and ait on the 27 of feb. i am gonna miss him so much i have never been away from him for more then a day and now imma be gone for 6 months then only see him for 2 weeks before i leave again

My dad left 5th grade, last time I saw him was last year in September. It sucks being a military kid. But hey at least he is doing something good.
