I don't think PhilX necessarily should do a name change with Nitro. Why should he? Capcom has their NitroMan and Phil has his own.

Also since these boss characters are based on Phil's childhood drawings, I'm sure it's safe to say he came up with the Nitroman first. So it seems like a name change would only make it look as if Phil got c**k-blocked.

It's purely coincidence they're both named Nitro Man. It's just a name. The real Nitro Man doesn't even look like this Nitro Man on the silhouette.

Yeah but that was Capcom America that used stuff from MMU. Capcom Japan are the ones that have been working on this so it was up to them when it came to naming. I don't know if Japan is even aware of MMU but i'm only assuming.

Yes, but in my opinion it can be a problem for future compositions due to the fact of the beat becoming redundant. As for this song, I enjoy the tempo and beat very well and I think it suits Nitro Man the most. :)
